I took my vehicle to the local Ford dealership for the remedy for recall Ford 25S01 on Feb 2, 2026. During the inspection, it was found that the part affected was damaged and the dealership sent photos to Ford. After that, I haven't received any guidance from Ford or the dealership. Since the invoice I received indicated that there was a weld crack in one of the absorbers, I assume that the recall should repair this as a safety concern, but I haven't received any proactive communication from Ford or the dealership. I have contacted the dealership twice since February but I have not received any callback. I am concerned that this is a safety issue and Ford hasn't done anything to correct this since they found out about the issue in February.

I took my 2022 Ford bronco Badlands sasquatch in for recall 25s01 rear shock absorber external reservoir corrosion on 01/15/2026 was notified the next day it was fix when I arrived it was not fix they said parts where on backorder and that Ford has placed the recall campaign on hold. I was advised to take vehicle home and they would call back when they hear back from ford. Both rear shocks have failed and reservoir have fallen off. Vehicle is unsafe to drive due to blown rear shocks vehicle is bouncing and feels like it's all over the place

Ford has an active recall for failed rear shock absorbers. My bronco was inspected at the Ford dealership, the tech indicated the shock absorbers failed inspection and needed a recall. A picture was sent to Ford, Ford declined the recall stating the rust was not corrosion. Therefore, my bronco did not receive the recall. Recall number is.25V025.

The front shocks are leaking and not operating properly. This is a similar known issue with the rear shocks. This is a similar part on the front and Ford is not acknowledging the issue. Loss of vehicle control could occur if they continue to leak and degrade in performance.

My car has a recall NHTSA #25V025 for the rear shock absorber external reservoir corrosion since1/21/2025. A few weeks ago the recall status shows remedy available so I brought it in to a Ford Dealership on 8/15/2025. The tech inspected the car and both absorbers showed signs of oil leaking and they need to be replaced. The pictures also showed the reservoirs are close to be separated from the vehicle. The dealer told me the parts are in back order with no ETA despite the recall status shows remedy available. The dealer told me the car is safe to drive despite the fact in the recall they stated "If a rear shock absorber external reservoir separates from the vehicle, it can create a potential road hazard for other road users, increasing the risk of a crash." I don't have a car to drive since 8/15/2025 and Ford is refusing to provide a loaner or rental vehicle on their cost.

Rear passenger shock was leaking oil around braking system creating burnt oil smell while driving. At this point mileage for warranty was over by 2,000 miles and was not covered by Ford warranty. We had to pay over $900.00 for the replacement from Ford. Fast forward 2 months, on the freeway driving 70 mph, the rear driver’s side shock reservoir detached and almost hit the car behind us. Again, we are paying Ford again for the other shock. This recall really needs to be in forced a lot quicker because of the safety of other drivers.

The vehicle is a 2022 Ford Bronco Badlands 2 door. It is under NHTSA recall 25V025, with no fix expected until later this year. The ride quality is bouncy, with some wobbling when going over bumps. Ford claims the vehicle is still okay to drive; however i am not comfortable with having to deal with the ride quality for the next several months

Hazardous Recall Issue Not Being Addressed Short Term With Permanent Safety Solution Many Months Away Creating Liability For Me, Destroying My Property and Putting Myself and Other Motorist In Jeopardy. For the past month fluid from my Ford Bronco has been leaking leaving stains on newly paved driveway. We just received the following recall... REAR SHOCK ABSORBERS MAY EXPERIENCE CORROSION BETWEEN THE EXTERNAL RESERVOIR MOUNTING FLANGE AND THE DAMPER BODY, RESULTING IN POSSIBLE SEPARATION OF THE EXTERNAL RESERVOIR. CUSTOMERS MAY EXPERIENCE... LEAKING FLUID NEAR THE REAR WHEELS PRIOR TO THE DETACHMENT OF AN EXTERNAL RESERVOIR. Safety Risk IF A REAR SHOCK ABSORBER EXTERNAL RESERVOIR SEPARATES FROM THE VEHICLE, IT CAN CREATE A POTENTIAL ROAD HAZARD FOR OTHER ROAD USERS, INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH. Even though the notice says the recall resolution is not expected for over 6 months, I was willing to pay the deductible for my Ford Warranty to get the safety issue fixed, even if I never get reimbursed for Ford's vehicle issue. Since this is a safety issue and are fearful of the the reservoir tank separating since our vehicle is already loosing significant fluid from the reservoir. I brought my vehicle into the local Ford dealership and they confirmed the issue with my car is the same regarding the Recall notice. Even with the warranty, Ford has rejected the claim to replace the shock absorbers. So now I just have to wait while it destroys my driveway and hope a detachment doesn't occur and jeopardize either myself or others driving around me. For reference I'm including my warranty claim # that was rejected with Ford - [XXX]. Happy to provide VIN (instructions say not personal info here). I drive a Standard ‘22 Bronco. Only E-brake works for parking brake when in parking lots and such. My Bronco rolls into oncoming traffic and pedestrians when the e-brake releases. I am former Homeland Security and this unacceptable, as this if my 10th issue with the Ford Bronco! Safety First!

NHTSA #11741910

There has been an SSM release by Ford (SSM 51415) acknowledging that 2021-2022 Bronco vehicles flat towed in neutral may experience inconsistent or unintended ABS (anti-lock brake) module activation while being towed. The ABS module exits sleep mode unexpectedly due to road vibration input during towing, which can cause brake drag or lockup while the vehicle is being flat towed behind a motorhome. This is a safety concern as unexpected braking of the towed vehicle can affect the towing vehicle's stability and control at highway speeds. The vehicle is being operated exactly as documented in the Ford owner's manual, which explicitly supports neutral flat towing. Ford has developed a software update to address this defect but is declining to cover it under warranty or goodwill, instead classifying it as non-covered maintenance. The issue has been confirmed by an authorized Ford dealership who identified SSM 51415 as applicable. A community workaround requiring removal of fuses 28 and 29 to disable the ABS pump has emerged among owners, indicating this is a widespread known issue affecting safety during a manufacturer-approved towing method. Ford should issue a TSB or recall and cover the software correction at no cost to owners.

On May 7, 2026 while driving approximately 18 mph, my Ford Bronco 2022 Outerbanks experienced a sudden loss of normal braking assist. The brake pedal became stuck in the upright position requiring excessive force to stop the vehicle. When the brake pedal went down the truck rolled to the curb and I put it in park. There was a warning sign on the dash that flashed and went away. I could not see what it was. Luckily there were no bystanders or other cars on the road at the time. I was near an elementary school at the time. This would have caused a crash or worse if there were pedestrians. I turned the truck off and called the tow. At the dealership they diagnosed and confirmed an electronic brake booster (EBB) failure. This EBB failure mirrors a recent recall from Ford affecting 2025 Broncos. The dealership has refused warranty because I am 6 months outside the warranty period even though I only have 29,960 miles. This is not normal wear and tear. The 2025 recall # is 25V488. This EBB recall may also affect previous years such as mine and should be investigated.

Anti lock beake system warning light. Very hard to press brake pedal. Brought immediately to dealership. Was told Brake vacuum hose Part # MB3Z 2420 L. Part is not covered by any warranty standard or extended. Also told this is a known issue SSM 50472. Safety of driver, passengers and public placed in danger.

Vehicle brake pedal is very hard to press, unable to push in until the car engine is running. When driving the brake pedal seems it has more pressure and cannot push it to normal level. On the highway it came up brake safety warning when I was in 4Wheel Auto. The pedal stiffness has been checked and confirmed by AutoNation Service. They stated no Warranty or Recall Notice for this issue. The issue is commonly reported by broncos with 2.3L and is determined to be the Brake Booster Vacuum Line. Statements share similar brake pedal stiffness when engine stopped, and engaged stiffness when in 4 wheel mode or Cruise Control, causing driver to put immense pressure on pedal to have the car brake. Before I pay for the parts and long service this clear safety concern should be looked at.

When braking(going down hill) the Bronco comes to a complete stop and the brakes feel good. But a split second after the full stop, the truck starts to creep forward for about a foot and then you hear a "click noise" and the truck abruptly stops. This is a very scary feeling wondering if your gonna roll into cross traffic. This happens every morning(once every day) and the rest of the day the brakes feel good. This issue has been happening for the last 7 days. I made an appointment with Ford dealer to look at it. Service writer tried looking up any recalls or complaints on this issue and couldn't find anything? On the BroncoG6 forum online, there apparently are other Bronco owners complaining about the same issue. One owner (online) stated that the dealer reprogrammed the ABS system and his truck hasn't repeated the creep anymore. There haven't been any brake, ABS or any warning lamps at all when this happens. This really needs to be resolved before someone get injured.

I am writing to formally report a safety-related malfunction involving the parking brake system in my vehicle. The issue poses a significant safety hazard while driving and warrants investigation for potential design or manufacturing defects. During normal operation, the parking brake actuator malfunctioned, causing the vehicle to pull to one side and creating an unsafe driving condition. When I took the car to an authorized dealership, I was informed that the issue was due to a faulty parking brake switch. The switch was replaced; however, the malfunction persisted. Further inspection revealed that the parking brake motor and actuator needed replacement. Even after these repairs, while driving, the dashboard repeatedly displayed warnings such as: •“Parking brake engaged,” •“Please release parking brake,” and •“Parking brake system overheated.” When attempting to release the brake, the system would only disengage after manually pressing the release button, rather than automatically disengaging when the vehicle began to move — as it should. This malfunction not only causes confusion but also increases the risk of loss of vehicle control or brake system failure during operation. Given the repeated failures and persistent warnings, I believe this issue represents a potential safety defect that should be reviewed by your agency to determine if other vehicles are affected. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response and to ensuring this issue is properly addressed to prevent future incidents.

After owning the car for 3 years and two weeks my Check Brake System light went on. I took my car to the dealer and was told that I needed a new brake vacuum line. They replaced it with a different part than what was originally installed, leading me to believe that there is something wrong with the original part. And there is no recall for the original part. And because I was out of the warranty period, I had to pay for the $230 part plus $525 of labor. Total bill was $875 for a car just out of warranty.

The steering is unsafe, my neighbor works at a ford dealership and said it’s the rack, which I also read online that it’s become a common problem, the steering has become very stiff. To the point where I have had to slam on the breaks at curves in the road just to be able to turn into the bend, which has almost caused two incidents.

NHTSA #11735298

On April 3rd, 2026 my steering started to intermittently lock up on my 2022 Ford Bronco. I immediately took my vehicle to my local dealership where they were able to recreate the problem. The vehicle was also throwing the code U3000:49-8A for steering gear failure. This issue appears to be consistent with the Ford Safety Recall 23S09. There was no warning prior to the issue. There were no warning indicators once the issue began.

NHTSA #11729984

I was operating the vehicle on the highway and the steering locked up. I had no indication that this was going to happen. It would not turn and almost caused an accident. I was able to break the steering do to my strength. I was able to limp truck to dealer. Upon inspection they confirmed a faulty / locked up steering shaft. This was not covered by ford. The shaft was replaced and functional now. I have made several attempts to communicate with corporate ford about this safety matter and haven’t been heard from. They have had shaft issues with their f150 trucks also. This issue is a direct result from poor manufacturing and is a real safety issue. This should never happen with a vehicle that is only a few years old with not that many miles.I have saved the part for inspection and looking for some assistance. Thanks you.

Steering stopped working. Took it to a Ford dealership and they have identified the problem as a broken steering gear. Other 2022 Ford Broncos were recalled for a faulty steering gear, but my VIN was not included. Seems suspicious that the same part breaks for the same year and model. I was told if the backup camera malfunctioned happened again to take video and pictures of what happened, then bring into the dealer that day if the dealer was open so they could see if they issue remained. I did and was told by another service representative the service department couldn't take a look at the vehicle today a Friday and to bring it in Monday. When I got back my Bronco and restarted the rear camera was functioning correctly. I do have pictures and video of the last image remaining when I placed my Bronco in reverse. One image on the left side of the IMG_5347.jpeg attached shows the image of the reverse image prior to the current backup image. The right side of the picture shows the actual image in reverse. The image IMG_5348.jpeg shows the mileage and the vehicle in reverse. The pdf documents the Ford dealer service department could not find the issue that happen prior to 09/04/2024 service date. I have a video of trying to use the backup camera with the previous image shown in left side of the screen showing what happens. It doesn't happen all the time. If you turnoff vehicle and restart the issue goes away.

My vehicle was parked but left running. I went around to obtain my daughter from the rear passenger. While holding her I leaned in to the passenger front and pressed the button to turn off the vehicle when it suddenly began to roll in reverse. It's unknown to me what could have caused the incident but something failed/malfunctioned. Something within possibly the gear shifter glitched when power was cut off?

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? - Display for backup camera freezes after putting vehicle in reverse. Yes, it is available for inspection. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? - The display freezes when putting the vehicle in revers and the initial image on display of what was behind the vehicle stays the same while moving. If something or someone moves behind the vehicle while moving the image does not update to show that something or someone is now behind the vehicle. Previously recall 23S48 was completed related to the issue but it did not resolve the issue. Vehicle was taken back to the dealer and the dealer informed me that it is a faulty APIM and not the backup camera and is therefore not covered by the recall. This is a significant safety issue and needs remedied regardless of what component needs replaced. Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? - Yes Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives or others? - Only by the dealer (Midwest Ford in Hutchinson, KS). Were there any warning lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear? - No

My vehicle is experiencing potential electrical issues which appear to be similar to the same 12-volt battery management failures that are currently recalled in the Bronco Sport models. The "Charging System Service Now" alarm continues to pop up, sometimes every 30 seconds. I am also not able to use my communication and navigation system, and I am not sure if this is related to the same electrical system malfunctions. Furthermore, on three recent occasions, my vehicle stalled while I was pulling out of a street which was on a slight incline, another while I was on a hill in a parking lot, and another while I was reversing and putting my car into 1st gear to drive. During all of these occasions, my vehicle stalled and did not automatically re-start which had me blocking traffic while I turned my vehicle back on. All of these issues have affected the safety of myself and my passengers due to the unexpected stalling as well as electrical power loss, including loss of navigation/communications. It has also resulted in me getting pulled over by law enforcement twice due to swerving while I was looking at the screen when it went black and the other because I was speeding because my Charging System Service alarm went off and I was also unable to determine the speed limit of that road without having my navigation screen working. I believe I have contacted the Ford Dealership regarding the specific loss of the communication and navigation issue and was told they did not have the parts/software available at this time. I have taken my vehicle to an Advance Auto Parts store when the "Charging System Service Now" first appeared and was told it was potentially the alternator. I will have to locate the documentation at a later time.

I would like to update my previous safety concern since both concerns are related to separate recall issues. This concern is related to my vehicle experiencing potential electrical issues which appear to be similar to the same 12-volt battery management failures that are currently recalled in the Bronco Sport models. The "Charging System Service Now" alarm continues to pop up, sometimes every 30 seconds. I have not able to use my communication and navigation system for months now which has caused continuous issues which first started with my gps taking me to a completely different location on several occasions. This has caused me to get lost, be late, and be distracted while trying to fix the navigation error. These electrical issues have affected the safety of myself and my passengers due to the potential for complete electrical power loss, including loss of navigation/communications. It has also resulted in me getting pulled over by law enforcement twice: Once, where I received a warning for failing to use my turn signal when exiting which was the result of my entire screen going black while I was using my GPS and panicked. The second time was for speeding: 1. I was distracted because the Charging System Service alarm popped up on my dashboard. 2. My navigation screen was not working which I what I used to monitor the speed limit and maintain correct speed when the sign was not visible. 3. According to research, this may have affected the accuracy of the speed gun since I did not agree with the speed the officer detected. Research into this issue did, in fact, indicate that electromagnetic interference caused by the electrical faults and alternator issues can produce broadband noise or EMI which may overload or confuse the sensitivity of the radar gun, causing a false speed reading. Yes, the Ford Dealership was contacted, and I was told they did not have the parts/software available to fix the electrical issue. A mechanic also indicated issues with the alternator.

The Molded-In-Color (MIC) hard top shows signs of delamination and cracking on the exterior skin of the roof panel. Models from the same production year were called under NHTSA Recall No.: 26V299. My vehicle was not included on this recall. I have attempted to have Ford inspect the issue and have refused since it is out of warranty. I am concerned that the delaminating sections will detach while driving.

NHTSA #11743541

Noticed that my hardtop was cracking around the rear windows. This is a know issue with Ford and is being replaced under warranty. Unfortunately, my vehicle is outside of the original 3 year 36,000 mile warranty period by just over 6,000 miles that would qualify for replacement. The dealer quoted over $10,000.00 to replace the entire top since all roof panels appear to be affected. This is almost 1/4 the cost of my vehicle on the used market and is unacceptable for a know issue that would normally be replaced under warranty.

NHTSA #11740207

My 2022 Ford Bronco experienced recall 25S75 where fuel pump failed while driving on the freeway outside LA near San Bernardino. Recall was communicated in July of 2025 and no fix available. How long has Ford been building cars? There were no warnings or symptoms prior to failure. This was extremely dangerous for car to stall in the middle of the freeway, not to mention it was 98 degrees outside. I was able to tow my Bronco to a Ford dealership where they confirmed and fixed the recall fuel pump issue.

I believe my vehicle has suffered a cracked/fractured or broken intake valve on cylinder number 4. There is very low compression in that cylinder. I checked it and it only managed to produce 25psi. I inspected the cylinder with a borescope camera and there is no damage or excessive wear to the piston or cylinder bore. They both look pristine with no signs of anything. I could not see either the intake or exhaust valves on my camera. They are the only pieces of the engine I could not inspect that could possible cause a compression issue. It is my understanding that ford is aware of an issue of this happening on some 2.7 Ecoboost engines?

I’ve complained to my local Ford dealer about 10-speed transmission issues including to several different service techs. There is a loud clunk and physical movement of the vehicle when shifting from park through to reverse and eventually to drive—it’s the P to R which is most noticeable. I’ve had 3rd party mechanics inspect the clunk, had Ford replace the driveshaft, conducted a trans fluid flush, but the clunk persists. I am concerned that one day, the vehicle will not shift out of park or potentially damage the transmission to an undriveable state outside of warranty. This has persisted for several years. I need Ford to replace the transmission and then conduct research into the issues with the old one once removed.

While driving on an interstate it was determined that the engine walls over compressed and blew out the sides of the motor of my 2022 Ford Bronco. The Bronco has 67,000 miles on it which shows a clear manufacturer defect. It is available to be inspected as well to confirm. My wife’s and unborn child’s safety was put at risk by losing acceleration and losing control of the vehicle briefly as it began to shake from the engine misfiring. This easily could have caused a serious wreck had more traffic been present at the time. The dealership has not been able to confirm this on other cars. The windshield washer fluid reservoir cracked along its seam and drains completely after a few hours. This was not due to an accident and I have not done off-roading. I live in a snowy environment and not having an operating windshield washer is a MAJOR safety hazard as road salt quickly builds up on the windshield dramatically reducing forward visibility. It also affects the rear window washer, but that’s not as troubling an issue. The defective reservoir is available for inspection. My local mechanic confirmed that the reservoir is cracked. My photo shows the fluid leaking onto the ground. The component has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police or insurance, but has been inspected by a mechanic at my local Chevron station. A “washer fluid low” warning and idiot light appears after the reservoir drains, goes off when fluid is added, and goes on again when the fluid drains out again. I have ordered a replacement reservoir from Ford (which has been revised from the original) plus two required hoses for $477.28 (without installation). An internet search suggests this is a common problem for my vehicle.

See attached document for complaint. Dear Ford Motor Company, NHTSA Officials, and Lindsay Ford of Wheaton: I am the registered owner of a 2022 Ford vehicle, XXXXX. I am in receipt of NHTSA Safety Recall Notice 22S72 (dated November 2025, enclosed herein), which states in part: "Vehicle identification Number (VIN): [partial VIN redacted] ... This recall applies to vehicles which may have a defective motor assembly that can cause sudden loss of power, stalling, or fire risk while driving. Until parts are available, Ford recommends parking the vehicle outdoors and away from structures." I am terrified to drive this vehicle. The recall explicitly warns of fire risk, sudden power loss, and inability to restart, all life-threatening conditions. Ford admits no remedy is currently available, and the interim instruction to park outdoors is not a fix; it is an admission that the vehicle is unreasonably dangerous. My Legal Rights Under Federal and State Law: NHTSA Authority (49 CFR § 577.5) "The manufacturer shall remedy the defect or noncompliance without charge when the vehicle is presented for remedy." 1. Ford has failed to provide a timely remedy and instead issued a "park outside" advisory, which does not eliminate the hazard. 2. Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. § 2301 et seq.) Ford's express and implied warranties of safety and merchantability have been breached. A vehicle that can catch fire or stall without warning is not fit for its ordinary purpose (safe transportation). 3. Maryland Lemon Law / UCC § 2-314 (Implied Warranty of Merchantability) A known fire hazard renders the vehicle defective and unmerchantable. I have a right to revocation of acceptance and replacement or refund. 4. Ford's Own Recall Language The notice states: "If you are not comfortable driving your vehicle, contact your dealer. "I am not comfortable. I am afraid for my life and my family's safety. I am copying the dealership as well. DEMAND FOR RELIEF: Within seven (7) business days of receipt of this letter, I demand: 1. A brand-new, identical or comparable 2022+ model replacement vehicle (same trim, options, and features), delivered at Ford's expense, with: 0 Zero miles or loaner credit until delivery All taxes, title, registration, and delivery fees paid by Ford 0 Full transfer of remaining factory warranty 2. Immediate pickup of the defective vehicle at Ford's expense 3. I am submitting this complaint regarding an open safety recall on my vehicle, NHTSA Recall 25V721 (Manufacturer Recall 25SB5), which has been active since October 29, 2025. As of today, the recall remains incomplete and the manufacturer states that no remedy or parts are available, with no estimated timeline provided. The recall involves a potential issue where a front seat frame height-adjust pivot bolt may loosen or dislodge, increasing the risk of injury in a crash. According to the manufacturer, this condition may not be identifiable without an incident or collision. My concern is that: 1.The recall has been open for over three months with no interim remedy, inspection protocol, or mitigation guidance offered to owners. 2.The manufacturer has not provided clear written guidance on whether the vehicle is considered safe for continued operation while awaiting the remedy, beyond stating that parts are unavailable. 3.Owners are left in a prolonged state of uncertainty, despite the recall being classified as safety-related. 4.The lack of interim guidance or remedy availability is causing financial and practical hardship, as vehicles with open safety recalls are restricted from certain lawful uses, even when no symptoms are present. I am requesting that NHTSA review whether the manufacturer’s delay in providing a remedy—or interim safety guidance—meets expectations for timely resolution of a safety recall. I am also requesting that NHTSA encourage the manufacturer to provide either: •An interim inspection or mitigation procedure, or •Clear guidance on vehicle operability and risk while awaiting the final remedy. Thank you for your review of this matter.

While operating the vehicle under load, the vehicle suffered a sudden and severe loss of engine performance, followed immediately by loud metallic banging from the engine bay. The vehicle lost all power and was immediately disabled (LIMP MODE), presenting an imminent highway safety hazard. The Physical Damage: Subsequent mechanical teardown revealed deep vertical cylinder wall scoring, heavy raw fuel residue in the engine oil pan, and a blown head gasket. Relationship to Active Safety Defect: This catastrophic block failure perfectly mirrors the progressive failure profile of NHTSA Campaign 25V455 / Ford Safety Recall 25S75 (Low-Pressure Fuel Pump Failure). Internal component degradation in the fuel tank delivery module dropped fuel pressure to the engine. Under turbo boost, this starvation induced an extreme, instantaneous lean-out condition. The resulting low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) exploded and shattered the internal piston rings (the metallic banging), leading to mechanical wall gouging, unburnt fuel wash into the lower crankcase, and a secondary blown head gasket. Request for Action: Ford's current VIN parameters for Recall 25S75 have not yet captured my specific vehicle despite it matching the exact production window, component setup, and catastrophic failure sequence. I am requesting that the NHTSA log this case as clear evidence of consequential engine destruction originating from the 25V455 pump defect, and evaluate whether Ford's recall scope must be expanded to protect other consumers from highway engine failures.

NHTSA #11744448

The Incident: While operating the vehicle under high load, the driver received an explicit "Service Engine Soon" powertrain malfunction alert stating: "The powertrain control module lost communication with the vehicle active grill shutter module for a period of time." Immediately following this warning, the engine experienced a severe loss of power, followed by loud metallic banging from the engine bay. The vehicle stalled completely and lost all motive power, creating an imminent highway safety hazard. The Physical Damage: Subsequent mechanical teardown by the dealership revealed terminal block destruction, including deep vertical cylinder wall scoring, heavy unburnt liquid gasoline residue in the engine oil pan, and a blown head gasket.Relationship to Active Safety Defect: This catastrophic engine failure mirrors the progressive failure profile of NHTSA Campaign 25V455 / Ford Safety Recall 25S75 (Low-Pressure Fuel Pump Failure). In this EcoBoost architecture, the Active Grill Shutter (AGS) module shares critical voltage paths, grounding blocks, and wiring looms with the engine management and fuel delivery systems. The sudden network communication loss is diagnostic proof of a severe voltage drop or electrical short caused by the high-friction fuel pump degradation detailed in Recall 25S75. This circuit failure instantly starved the engine of fuel under turbo boost, inducing an extreme lean-out condition. The resulting pre-ignition forces violently shattered the internal piston rings (the loud banging), which then gouged the cylinder walls, wiped out compression, fouled the crankcase with fuel residue, and blew the head gasket.Request for Action: Ford's current VIN parameters for Recall 25S75 have not yet captured my specific vehicle despite it matching the exact production window, component setup, and catastrophic failure sequence. I am requesting that the NHTSA log this case as definitive evidence of consequential engine destruction originating from the 25V455 fue

We purchased the above referenced vehicle new back in 2022 and have received numerous recalls since 2023. Many of these recalls have no remedy or remedies not yet available. Thankfully, most of these recalls are not urgent and do not pose much of a problem. However, the most recent recall 25S75/25V455 poses a threat due to loss of fuel pressure and recently our vehicle has shown signs of malfunctioning. I am majorly concerned because our daughter is supposed to use this vehicle in February 2026 and the way the recall repairs are trending, it may take months or years to remedy. I am writing this correspondence so you are aware of the recall and put it on your radar to track. I plan on writing again if a significant amount of time has passed with no remedy per Ford's direction if we are having difficulty getting our vehicle repaired in a "reasonable" amount of time. There is no reason Ford should be producing faulty, no remedy vehicles. Families have to rely on their vehicles and should feel safe and confident, not worrying if the car stalls mid highway with their child in it.

On [XXX] I was driving the vehicle during heavy rain. I commute 47 miles each way to work, when nearing my work location the car started to sputter like it was out of fuel and slowed to a crawl, applying pressure to the gas pedal had no impact - acted like it was getting no fuel, was able to pull vehicle over to side of the road. Vehicle would turn over but would not start - Check Engine light came on - codes displayed on code reader indicated that the high pressure fuel sensor and the low pressure fuel sensor were having issues. I had the vehicle towed to the closest Ford Dealer and they ended up replacing the fuel sensors and fuel pump. Thought that it was a faulty fuel pump. The Mileage I believe was 59516. On Wednesday [XXX] I was again driving this vehicle to work in a rain storm and at almost the exact same distance from home on the exact route the vehicle exhibited the exact same symptoms and the vehicle abruptly stopped running after shuttering to a stop with no fuel. In both cases the vehicle had a nearly full tank of fuel. The vehicle has been taken back to the Ford Dealership for repair. It appears that there is an issue when driving for extended periods on very wet roads water is entering the fuel systems electrical components and causing the system to fail causing a very unsafe driving condition. On December 11th the area had received 3.23 inches of rain in a 3 day period with the heaviest falling on the morning of December 11th. December was when Hurricane Helene passed to the west of our location in South Carolina dropping several inches of rain. Concerns a safety-related defect involving the infotainment system in my 2022 Bronco, which is directly related to an active recall and has not been properly addressed by the manufacturer or dealership. Ford issued a recall concerning the infotainment system due to a safety concern. For over a quarter, Ford had no available fix. The entire time I had my Bronco, my infotainment system repeatedly malfunctioned, required frequent resets, & ultimately failed completely. When I contacted the dealership 10/23/25, the earliest service appt was 12/17/25. Upon arrival, I was informed that the infotainment system would need to be repaired before the recall software update could be applied. I explained that the failure itself was the reason for the recall. Despite this, I was required to pay a $196 diagnostic fee to determine if the failure was recall-related. After the eval, the dealership stated the failure was not Ford’s responsibility & provided an estimate of approximately $1,672.61 w/o tax to repair the system on a '22 vehicle. This determination contradicts the stated safety basis of the recall. I contacted my insurance provider to explore coverage. The claim was denied, w/the insurer stating the issue was not caused by an accident or break-in, but was consistent w/a vehicle defect. Despite this, I was still charged the diagnostic fee. Research indicates the recall involves an electrical defect, not only a software issue. A non-functioning infotainment system impacts access to safety alerts & vehicle information, which presents a legitimate safety risk. Ford & the dealership refused to repair the system under the recall, refund the diagnostic fee, or acknowledge the failure as recall-related. I'm continuing to operate a vehicle w/a known safety defect. I'm requesting NHTSA review if recall remedies are being improperly limited, if consumers are being charged for recall-related defects , and if manufacturer &dealership practices comply w/ fed safety requirements.

I own a 2022 Ford Bronco. My vehicle has an electronic brake booster failure that causes multiple warning messages, brake system faults, and loss or reduction of brake assist. When this happens, the vehicle also prevents the 4-wheel drive system from engaging or switching modes. This is especially dangerous during winter conditions. When driving in snow or slippery conditions, I am unable to engage 4WD when it is needed most, while also experiencing brake system warnings. The vehicle becomes difficult to control and does not feel safe to drive. The dealership confirmed this is a known issue affecting multiple Ford Broncos and that the electronic brake booster part is currently back-ordered and unavailable. I was told many vehicles are affected, yet there is no recall for the 2022 model year, even though newer model years have a recall for the same component. This issue creates a serious safety risk due to impaired braking performance and inability to use 4-wheel drive in hazardous conditions. On June 13, 2025 my 2022 Ford Bronco and was involved in a serious collision in which the airbags did not deploy, the emergency braking and forward collision warning did not activate either. The second vehicle was t-boned at an estimated speed at the point of impact was 45mph. Both vehicles were a total loss. The Bronco suffered a bent frame and the passenger door would not open. The repair estimate was in excess of $36,000. I have reported the concern to Ford Motor Company under case number CXH-04933824-C1C3G9. At the time of the accident, there were no open recalls, warnings or notifications affecting the airbags or other safety systems. The vehicle was as-delivered by Ford from the factory with all regular service conducted by the local Ford dealership.

Good afternoon! My car started having issues going in reverse before I received the recall notification. It would nearly stall out and happened a couple times prior to getting the notice. Once I got the notice, I reached out to the dealer to see if anything could be done and was told no, not yet. Now, months later, it has gotten so bad that I am having to leave my house when it's cool (it doesn't stall as bad when it's cool out), and park my car in a certain way each day to ensure that I can effectively leave work without my car stalling. What is worse is that now, on hot days, my car semi-stalls, when I am driving on toll roads or back country roads on the way home. It loses power or jerks. I have an hour commute each way and this is NOT okay. Frankly, it is very scary sometimes. I have reached out to the dealership to ask them if it's safe for me to drive my car or if there is something they could do and I am constantly told that there is no solution, I have to wait, and they "legally" cannot tell me that it is safe to drive my car. They offered the option to rent a car, but I would have to pay a minimum of $45 out of pocket, per DAY, and I cannot afford to do that! I am already paying $600 a month for this car, now they want me to pay an additional $1350-$1395 a month just so I can feel safe? This has been going on for roughly 7 months. Who knows how long a "solution" will take. 7 months x $1350 a month = I would be out almost $9500 on TOP OF my car payment with no end in sight. I feel like this is moving at a snails pace. The problem is getting worse and I am getting the run around. No help is being offered to make me feel safe driving this car! They seem annoyed when I ask about it (I have only reached out three times in the last 4 months). The recall even says that it could stall while driving. So, honestly, what is it going to take for me to not die in a crash when my car stops on a high-speed road? Seriously. What can be done?

Electrical System,Engine,Fuel/Propulsion System1 queja

On 03/31/25 at approx. 12:45 AM our 2022 Ford Wild Trak was engulfed in fire while parked on our driveway. There were no occupants, and it had last been operated on 3/30/25 at approximately 1030 PM. During its last operation there was nothing abnormal to indicate the potential of a engine fire (no warning lights, messages, unusual smell or odors, performance issues, smoke, or fire). Upon observing the Ford Bronco Wild Trak for the first time the engine compartment was fully engulfed, and it was clear the fire had started in the engine compartment. The flames from the Ford Bronco Wild Trak eventually spread to a second vehicle destroying it down to the frame and causing enough damage to a third vehicle rendering it a total loss. All three vehicles were within 4 feet of our residence and the flames were hot enough it melted the garage door window frames. The Ford Bronco Wild Trak is frequently parked in our garage, and it been we would have lost our home and the lives of all four family member would have been put at risk. Researching Ford Bronco Wild Trak engine fires, we discovered that Ford Bronco Sports and Ford Escapes both have recalls due to faulty fuel injectors resulting in engine fires. The fuel injectors in Ford Bronco Wild Trak’s are similar to the fuel injectors in both the Ford Bronco Sports and Escapes. Due to the similarity between the Ford Bronco Sports and Escapes with the Wild Trak fuel Injectors we are asking for the NTSBA to initiate an investigation into Ford Bronco Wild Trak engine fires. The Ford Bronco Wild Trak can be retained for inspection if requested quickly as it is scheduled to be picked up by our insurance company and then disposed.

This is about Brake system and vacuum line linked Bronco. This is highly related to my own safety as when I go uphill or highway, this 'brake failure system' always is on and sometimes you are very hard to press a brake pedal as it's very stiff and not easy to press using your foot. But the thing is it comes and goes and sometimes it stopped and coming back. I today asked for a repair at dealership and they charge me 650 dollars as there's no official recall. Although it happened before my warranty's up and there's so many people suffering this identical issue but Ford didn't do anything and charge money to customers.

I pulled up to a parking spot and when I tried to brake to place my car into park my brakes would not engage and my vehicle kept moving forward. I had to slam my car into park to prevent from slamming into a barrier. My rear camera goes in and out of a blank screen when “backing up” or reversing.

The vehicle’s back-up camera completely malfunctions about 20% - 30% of the time making it completely impossible to see anything behind the vehicle when backing up. Sometimes, when the vehicle is put into reverse, the display screen will be completely dark, other times the image freezes on a load up image or screen and there is no display of what is behind the vehicle, and worst of all, other times the display will lock on the first image from the rear facing camera and not show real-time video of what is behind the vehicle, making the driver think it is safe to back up when it may not be. The vehicle has been brought to two different Ford dealerships three different times over the last two years regarding this problem. The first time I was told the problem had been addressed. The problem continued to occur. The second time, I was told the issue could not be addressed at that time. I was told that Ford Corp was aware of the problem but they did not have a fix available at that time. I was told that Ford Corp was working on software enhancements that would be available sometime in the future that would address the issue. The problem continued to occur. The third time I was advised the problem could not be addressed at that time and “Ford is working on additional software enhancements which are expected to be delivered over-the-air (OTA) by late Q4 2024” and “Software will update automatically if vehicle connectivity is enabled in the vehicle’s settings.” The problem continues to occur, so much so that I have several recorded videos of the problem occurring.

We were returning home from a trip. We pulled into a gas station to get gas. As we pulled up to the gas pump, we smelled smoke and then saw smoke and fire. We immediately turned the Bronco off and jumped out. Shortly after, the whole engine compartment area was on fire. Luckily, there was a tow truck in the parking lot and was able to drag it away from the gas pumps. I had gotten an oil change prior to our trip. There were no warning signals, lights, or indication of temperature or oil problems. I had intermittently smelled gas while driving during our trip, but my wife said she did not smell gas on the passenger side.

The headlight/taillights control dial switches modes and settings when entering and existing vehicle, the dial for the auto lights it will change and turn off the lights so that while you drive at night the daytime driving lights come on but there will be no rear tail lights. Creating a very dangerous driving at night with no tail lights . I have not taken it in to the dealer as it is intermittent problem and hard to recreate on demand at the dealership. The only remedy is to check the settings dial several times while driving to confirm that the headlights settings have stayed to a lights on condition.
