The back rear seat WINDOW on the left-hand side spontaneously exploded while driving around 60 mph on the highway on the morning (10:30 AM ET) of October 7, 2025. All of the pieces blew into the car. There was a loud boom when the window imploded. Had this happened on the driver's window, I would have wrecked. As loud as the window explosion was, I felt as though my ear drums busted. I had to get off the highway as soon as safely possible and pulled into a parking lot to check the damage. That's when I took these pictures. I took it to the Lincoln Dealer directly. There were no warning lights or other noises before the window exploded. There were no cars directly near me.

NHTSA #11692102

The door jam and hatchback seals are letting dust and emission fumes inside the vehicle. When driving down a dirt road the seats are covered with dust. The dealership says that the seals are properly installed they said to the cabin fan on high to pressurize the vehicle which has not helped. When sitting stopped in traffic you can smell the exhaust fumes. This has been an ongoing issue since the date of purchase and the dealership has admitted that other Nautilus vehicles are doing the same. I wanted to add more door seals but was told that would void my warranty.

The issue is with blue tooth phone calls. There is always excessive static while driving for the other person on the phone to the point were is is extremely difficult if not impossible to have any sort of conversation. Inside the vehicle it sounds clear, its the person on the other end that's having this issue and its consistent . All phone types are having this issue. I purchased this car brand new for my wife 10/24 and to not have a standard feature like blue tooth calling not working is unacceptable . In my opinion not being able to utilize hands free calling is a safety issue. It's been to the service dept. at the dealership twice and they can't fix it.

NHTSA #11646219

More than once while driving, the 48inch dashboard screen and the center touch screen, and power steering and the majority of electrical components would cease to work at all once and without warning. Essentially, the car goes "dark" like a computer that had its power cord pulled from the wall. Twice I had to come to a stop, with minimal ability to steer (no power). Eventually, after about 60 to 90 seconds, the screens rebooted slowly and regular functionality was restored after about another 60 to 90 seconds. This is not the same screen sequence as when you enter your car. Service at the dealership told me there are "various software issues with this new technology, as well as suspension, battery and severe electrical issues, many of which are posted recalls, and others are recalls pending or they have paused fixing until they can deliver new fixes, since previous fixes failed". I took my 24 Nautilus (ICE not hybrid) in for recalls on the suspension and it "going dark" while driving. I was told, and my service records include notes from the tech that also state this, that other customers are experiencing the same issues, and to expect more recalls. “This vehicle has been a nightmare”. Approximately 2 months later I was while driving down a highway exit ramp approaching a crossing city road, the vehicle again "went black". No lights or screen presence or indicators could be seen – no speedometer, no steering, no safety features such as emergency brake assist or lane assist activated. Zero control of the car. I recall screaming "I have no control! OMG!" My car hit a curb, then guard rail, then flipped and rolled, totaled the car. The driver and passenger front airbags did not deploy, the curtain bags did. I suffered minor injuries but luckily no major ones. I got the car because of all the safety features for my wife and kids. But I'll never buy another after seeing the car lose all power and control three times, the third flipping and rolling uncontrolled.

Seat Belts,Vehicle Speed Control,Seats1 queja

The newer Lincoln Nautilus starting model year 2024 has an issue of moving seat positions while in motion. For the seat memory settings I am set to position 1 my wife is set to position 2 and there's at least a foot difference between us. If the Nautilus enters power save mode which seems to be quite frequent the radio system also seems to go into a deeper sleep mode too. That means when you go to power on the car the radio takes roughly an extra 2 minutes to fully boot. When it is completely booted it will decide to default to the position 1 setting even if you are driving and on the move on the road. So what has happened is from the garage my wife gets in the car, starts it, clicks the number 2 position, is driving down the road while the car is in motion the radio completes its boot up and moves to position 1 where my wife now struggles to reach the steering wheel and the pedals. And since the car is in motion she is unable to click position 2 again because the car prevents you from changing position while in motion.

Electrical System,Air Bags,Unknown Or Other1 queja

I am reporting a serious vehicle safety concern involving my company-leased 2024 Lincoln Nautilus Black Label. The vehicle was damaged while in the custody of the dealership (Tasca Lincoln). The damage was not minor cosmetic damage and involved replacement of a door assembly. The dealership returned the vehicle to me after repair in approximately two (2) days, but I was provided no safety documentation at all, including no written proof of what parts were installed, no proof whether the replacement door was new or used, and no documentation confirming that the vehicle was restored to factory safety standards. This vehicle contains advanced safety systems integrated into the doors and surrounding structure, including side airbags, crash sensors, wiring harnesses, blind spot monitoring, and other electronic safety systems. I requested documentation confirming that these safety systems were properly inspected, calibrated, and functioning correctly after the repair, but I was provided nothing. Because the repair involved a major door replacement and the vehicle was returned in only two days with no verification of airbag, sensor, or safety system calibration, I do not believe the vehicle is safe to operate. I have not been driving the vehicle due to fear that the airbags or crash detection systems may not function properly in an accident. I contacted both the dealership and Ford/Lincoln corporate customer service seeking assistance and safety verification, but neither provided help or documentation, and I have been unable to obtain any proof that the vehicle’s safety systems were properly inspected or calibrated after the repair. Ford Lincoln Corporate had no knowledge of this, until I spoke to them. They denied my claim. This is a company lease vehicle, which creates additional safety and liability concerns. I am requesting NHTSA investigate the repair and the dealership’s failure to provide documentation confirming the vehicle is safe after structural repair.

The contact received notification of a system fault on the Mobile App. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the failure could not be duplicated. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The dealer referred the contact to the insurance company to cover the repair of damages to the vehicle. The contact became aware that the VIN was included in NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V337000 (Back Over Prevention), which the contact related to the failure; however, the part to do the recall repair was not yet available. Electrical System,Lane Departure,Forward Collision Avoidance1 queja

Ongoing Electrical Failures (2024 Lincoln Nautilus) This vehicle has experienced repeated and unresolved electrical system failures despite being brought in for service at least seven times. The issues remain ongoing and impact both safety and reliability: 1. Rear driver-side window defect – window reverses and will not remain closed, creating a safety and security concern. Multiple repair attempts have failed to resolve the issue. 2. False reverse braking alerts – system triggers warnings (“Reverse Brake Assist not available”) and audible alarms when no obstacles are present, creating a potential safety hazard. 3. Intermittent display failure – panoramic display screen goes black while driving, reducing driver awareness and functionality. 4. Rear hatch malfunction – requires repeated attempts to open; previously attributed to battery drain, but not permanently resolved. 5. Lighting system failure – exterior and interior approach lighting no longer activates with key fobs, indicating continued electrical system malfunction. 6. Forward Collision Warning – alarms go off when no oncoming vehicles are present. 7. Lane Departure Warning – goes into action when not leaving lanes causing vehicle to correct itself. Despite numerous repair attempts, these defects persist, indicating a systemic electrical issue. In my opinion, this raises serious concerns regarding vehicle safety, reliability, and manufacturer accountability. A permanent resolution has not been provided by Lincoln customer client care and denied Lincoln buy back.

Power Train,Electrical System,Fuel/Propulsion System1 queja

On the way home from the dealer the vehicle powered down on its own and then shut off in the middle of the road. Luckily we were able to coast into the median without incident. The vehicle started back up and we garaged it until the dealer came the next day to retrieve it. The vehicle remains at the dealer with this unresolved issue, now going on ten days. They do not appear to know what caused the problem, but vehicles shutting down in the middle of the street ( or worse yet, an expressway filled with rush hour traffic) create an obvious dangerous situation. Please also note that I have been advised that we are not the only people experiencing the same problem with this vehicle. If that is the case, I cannot fathom why we were allowed to put this vehicle on the road. Someone is going to get hurt or worse if this problem continues unabated.
