The highly documented sticky steering issue has caused multiple dangerous issues of steering overcorrection on 2 lane highways in rural Arkansas and Missouri where I live. Seems worse on returning to straight ahead from a slight left curve. It makes my very nervous to drive and the dealer ignored it for years saying it was probably a knocked loose sensor. Estimated cost of out of warranty repair for the some issue the latest models have a recall on is about $5000. I cannot afford this and makes me tend to drive this vehicle in a dangerous condition.

NHTSA #11745494

The steering sticks, i.e. binds, when centered and requires excessive force to move it off center. The force/movement required to "unstick" the steering could inadvertently cause a lane or possibly a roadway departure as well as a crash into another vehicle. This issue, and its cause, have been diagnosed by Honda of San Marcos (Texas): "Verified concern, found internal failure in the power steering rack, Technician found power steering gear binding when turning" by technician Keith Arche.

NHTSA #11745310

The steering wheel is sticking. It seems to be the gearbox power steering system

Since the first day of owing this 2019 CR V, the steering wheel did not smoothly turn. It would turn in small increments, somewhat jerking. As the years have gone by, the situation is worsened. I am afraid we will be in an accident along the highway. Today, I decided to check on what might be the cause, thinking something simple such as hydraulic fluid. Oh my gosh! I found 122 NHTSA complaints of exactly the same problem. And not only that! This EXACT situation was the subject of a recall of earlier versions of the same model. This is not my first rodeo with this specific car. Honda AND NHTSA should both be concerned about the safefy of its customers. Brake systems and steering systems ought to top the list for recall considerations. What is the correct number of complaints to cause a recall? How many of those affected actually file a complaint? I suspect a very small number. Do people have to first be in an accident or be killed as a result of the problems identified by both the customers and their mechanics and dealerships?

NHTSA #11743090

Vehicle (31,000 miles) exhibits sticky steering or notchy steering near the straight-ahead position. At highway speeds, the steering wheel resists small steering corrections and then breaks free, causing overcorrection. The condition requires constant micro-corrections to maintain lane position. I first noticed the problem around 10,000 miles. I turned off the LKAS system off. It appears to be getting worse. I called the Honda of Ft Myers dealer service dept (Adrian) and he informed there was a recall on this issue in later models that did not include my year. His only advice was to bring it in. Tires are new, properly inflated, and vehicle has recently been aligned. The symptom appears to originate within the electric power steering system. Vehicle is available for inspection. Safety will be at risk if issue continues to worsen. No warning lamps. Thank You

NHTSA #11743506

I'm concern with the possible safety issue while driving my 2019 CRV on the expressway at 60 mph. The steering has a sticking moment when trying to adjust the wheel back to straight alignment. I'm not sure if this is going to continue or can this get more serious. in my research, I noticed that there is a recall for this issue on other year models but not 2019. I find that interesting. Shouldn't Honda be responsible for this safety issue on all CRVs. Are other 2019 CRV owners having this issue. I'm taking my CRV into the dealer on Thursday 6/18 to address this issue.

NHTSA #11744204

While driving at various speeds, the steering wheel exhibits a noticeable "sticky" sensation and momentary mechanical binding when making minor steering adjustments, specifically when turning between the 10 o'clock and 11 o'clock positions. This occurs with the Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) completely turned off. The binding is a serious safety hazard because it requires a sudden increase in physical effort to "break free" the steering wheel, which can easily lead to over-correction or jagged lane departures at highway speeds. An authorized Honda dealership formally inspected the vehicle and confirmed an internal mechanical failure within the electronic power steering gearbox assembly, stating it requires a full replacement. The dealership noted that while this failure matches the physical symptoms of Honda's high-profile steering rack recalls on other model years (such as NHTSA Recall 24V-744), this 2019 model uses a different part number and is not currently covered. However, the dangerous mechanical behavior is identical, suggesting a broader engineering vulnerability with Honda EPS gearboxes that extends to the 5th-generation CR-V.

NHTSA #11738788

The steering is sticking when driving. This is especially concerning on highway driving or on curved roads. I have to fight the steering wheel to move, even slightly. The known recalls were for newer models. This recall needs to be extended to cover older models as it is a known issue.

NHTSA #11738483

Steering has become intermittently "sticky". When it happens, if I try to turn the steering wheel a very short distance it will resist until I put enough force to move it about twice as far as intended. Although the greater steering angle achieved has not been sufficient to take me out of my lane, it could do so. When steering is working normally, I easily turn the steering wheel to any angle without resistence. No warnings have been displayed.

NHTSA #11739928

Approx 2nd week of March, steering wheel began to have 1” play both left and right. Scheduled an appt although there were no warning/indicators illuminated. The day before appt, while traveling at approx 30 mph, applying brakes and coming to a stop, the vehicle began to make a rumbling sound near the engine. On the same day traveling up hill about 40 mph, applying gas, sounded like scraping noise from the front of the vehicle. I transport my 2 grandsons (8,9) most days and this was a major highway, remote area, no nearby homes and a very narrow shoulder. I was fortunate to make it to a family house and had the vehicle towed to the Island Honda. Honda confirmed that the steering rack is shot and not safe to drive. Stating the part is on back order and in the manufacturing stage. Vehicle only has 46,396 miles.

NHTSA #11734174

The contact owns a 2019 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60-65 MPH, the steering wheel was sticking. No warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the steering rack needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 31,000.

NHTSA #11731513

This vehicle is a 2019 Honda CR-V with less than 70,000 miles on it. Which is less than 10,000 miles a year. The steering wheel consistently sticks, gets jammed, or even locks while driving. The experience is mostly felt while making turns while driving. After taking into Honda of Kirkland in Kirkland, WA the service team confirmed that the rack and pinion need to be replaced. My safety, my family, and any other individual who is in the car while driving are and have been at risk since the steering wheel sticks and locks and is not operating correctly. Confirmed, the problem has been reproduced and confirmed by the Honda of Kirkland service team. The vehicle has been inspected by the service team at Honda of Kirkland. There were no warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem prior to the issue occurring. The problem started about a year or so ago and has progressively gotten worse over time. The vehicle has maintenance done on a regular basis and has never been in an accident. Honda of Kirkland and American Honda Motor Co., Inc. have denied a goodwill repair for this issue. Any help will certainly be appreciated.

NHTSA #11735870

steering is sticky. when maintaining a straight line position on road, it takes effort to adjust the steering wheel to autocorrect the steering. when turning there's a clicking sound as it there isn't enough grease. this is an expensive repair as a honda dealership quoted 4,300 for a 2019 honda crv with 37k miles. just as a side note 2022-2023 models had a recall because of this steering issue

NHTSA #11740608

The contact owns a 2019 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds and turning the steering wheel to the left or the right, the steering wheel failed to return to center. The contact was constantly making steering corrections while driving in a straight line because the steering wheel was turning independently to the left while driving. The contact stated that there was no warning light illuminated. The contact had not taken the vehicle to a local dealer or independent mechanic to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 25,500.

NHTSA #11729864

2019 Honda Ridgeline CRV, Milage 14,000. Purchased new, serviced per Honda scheduled maintenance. Electric Power Steering sticky hard to turn steering wheel. Dealer Service dept says sees lot of this problem. If not repaired could cause loss of steering control. My cost to repair $5200

NHTSA #11723909

Car is difficult to keep straight at highway speed. Steering feels stiff and requires effort to turn right or left. Constant minor corrections to steering are required to maintain straight heading. Problem is ongoing since first incident.

NHTSA #11740192

There is a Catch / tight spot in my steering. I see that I is a common problem on these Vehicles but no recall.

NHTSA #11718702

Summary: I am reporting a "sticky steering" mechanical defect in my 2019 Honda CR-V that matches the failure mode described in NHTSA Recall 24V-744. Issue Details: While driving at highway speeds, the steering wheel frequently becomes "stuck" or "notchy" feeling causing frequent adjustments at high speeds. I must apply sudden, extra force to break the wheel loose to keep car from crossing lanes, leading to unpredictable overcorrection and a high risk of a crash. I never use LKAS, so this is not what I am feeling in the steering. It is an annoyance that causes driver fatigue and anxiety. Prior Action: I visited two Honda dealers who told me they can only follow Honda recommendation. I contacted Honda Customer Service to request a repair under the current steering gearbox safety investigation, but my request was denied. Honda Case Number: 16300136. Case Status: Honda closed this case on 4/30/26 without providing a remedy, citing that my VIN is not currently part of the 2023–2025 recall population. However, the mechanical failure I am experiencing is identical to the one identified in newer models.

NHTSA #11734815

Vehicle is a 2019 Honda CRV. The steering keeps sticking. Especially entering and exiting highway ramps. Force is needed each time to control and correct the vehicle. This has been an issue for some time now. Please help.

NHTSA #11692199

I have had a continuous problem with the steering wheel intermittently stiffen and bind. I brought this to the attention of the service manager, Tony Rocha at Ed Morse Honda. He agreed that there was a problem with the Powering Steering Rack (Gear Box) and that this has been an ongoing problem with the CR-V. However, at this time there is not a recall on the 2019, just on the newer CR-V's. I contacted Honda and their response was to offer me $1,000 off of the $5,677.51 needed repair to correct the issue that they have been aware of for years. The vehicle is not safe to drive with a defective steering gearbox. This problem has been going on for well over a year on my CR-V. I have always had my vehicle serviced and maintained at Ed Morse Honda. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. There were no warning messages - just difficulty steering, increasing the risk of crash or injury.

NHTSA #11741493

I am writing to express a serious safety concern regarding my Honda CR-V. I recently learned that Honda has recalled millions of vehicles due to a sticky steering issue, and while my specific vehicle is not listed in the current recall, I am experiencing similar symptoms. Most notably, I recently encountered a frightening incident in which the steering in my vehicle felt unusually resistant or "sticky." As I attempted to correct my course on the highway, the lack of smooth steering response caused me to oversteer into the shoulder, putting myself and others at risk. Thankfully, I was able to regain control, but this could have resulted in a serious accident. In addition to the stiffness, I have also noticed a clicking noise when turning the wheel, which seems to accompany or precede the sticky sensation. Given the known recall for this issue in other Honda vehicles, I strongly urge you to investigate whether this problem might extend beyond the current recall list. My concern is that other affected vehicles, including mine, may have been missed. I would appreciate it if a representative could assist me with this. This is clearly a serious safety concern, and I believe it deserves your immediate attention. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response.

NHTSA #11683862

Steering sticks when driving 50 mph or faster. The steering feels stuck in position.

NHTSA #11677359

There are many complains online about the same issue from other car owners. All I want is for the dealer to repair at no cost to me. The car has less than 30K miles and it is driven only on city streets short distances. Below, the answer to the questions: 1-Steering Rack. Yes it is available for inspection 2-Sticky steering hard to control 3-Yes 4-Yes. Authorized Honda Dealer at Coconut Point, Estero Florida and Honda Corporate office in California knows about it too 5- No warning just a noise We firmly believe many vehicles may have this same issue. Regardless, it is clear that the part in my car is defective and should be replaced by the dealer at no cost to me. The age and mileage of the vehicle do not justify such a serious problem. Either the part was made with poor quality or it is defective. How can a steering rack fail at only 29,248 miles—what is it made of, plastic? This raises serious concerns about Honda Corporate and whether this is part of a broader scheme that should be investigated. My car is practically new and has been serviced exclusively at the same dealer where it was purchased brand new, without missing any of the recommended services ever. note: from the invoice attached you can see how expensive it is this repair

NHTSA #11687654

2019 Honda CRV. Steering feels sticky. It takes extra effort to make small corrections. Once you get the steering past the 'lump', it steers better for a little while. If you don't, it will return to where it started. It seems to get stuck wherever and whenever I make a correction. I have not talked to the dealer or repair professional but it seems to be getting worse.

NHTSA #11673519

I have been reading many similar steering defects on the Honda CRV. The problem is the steering wheel sticking when trying to maintain the Honda on a straight path. The steering is not fluid! Calling the dealership the first time ,I was told ,rather rudely that it was probably the rack and pinion steering gearbox. They also said it was going to cost north of $5,000.00. After exhausted research of the problem, I discovered Honda has several model recall for this, potentially very serious problem ,including the Honda CRV. I found there is a recall on the 2023 and newer. My 2109 is not in the recall. At this point I brought the CRV to the dealership to trouble shoot the problem. Sure enough the rude person was right. I needed a rack and pinion gearbox. I was quoted a price of, $5756.24.This opinion cost me $177.75. I left and told them I need to search around for a better price, and also try to get this done on a recall. I have contacted HONDA CUSTOMER SERVICE. As of this writing I feel I’m getting the run around! But I keep trying to see if they have a soul!!!

NHTSA #11670485

Steering seems "sticky" causing to over correct when turning in the highway and at low speeds. Ticking/clicking noise when turning the wheel. It is consistent every drive.

NHTSA #11668521

On 6/19/2025 while driving on both residential and highway I noticed extremely sloppy/sticky steering wheel and did not feel safe while driving. The temperature was in the high 80's. I had not noticed anything like this before. Today is 6/29/2025 and I have been to the dealership I bought my CRV vehicle from 3 times relating to the steering for substantial visits on 6/20, 6/24 and 6/26. They were not able to replicate at the dealership what I experienced and we have had substantially cooler temperatures, such as 25 degrees. I believe no being able to replicate what I experienced could be caused by the much lower temperatures. I am frustrated since after the first visit to the dealership for service on 6/20/2025 by searching online I have learned there have been numerous years before and after my CRV was manufactured with steering related issues. This includes 2018 (18V66300 recall for electric power assist system) and 2019 (19V383000). The 2019 steering wheel recall was for vehicles that began manufacture 10-03-2018 and had manufacturing ending 4/02/2019. My vehicle was manufactured January 2019 and from what I understand it was not included in the recall. There was also recently a recall announced Nov. 2024 related to gearbox worm wheel and this included CRV model years 2023-2025. Additional information is that my CRV has low mileage. As of 6/20/2025 the mileage was 46,636. My concerns is that there has been a pattern over many years with similar issues as I expressed June 2025 regarding my CRV. This has involved many Honda auto makes including CRV.

NHTSA #11670118

WHILE DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD THE STEERING WILL SIMPLY GET A STICKY SPOT IN THE STEERING. SO YOU WILL BE DRIVING AND SUDDENLY THERE IS A STUCK SPOT IN THE STEERING WHEEL AND TO GET IT PAST IT YOU MUST PUSH THE STEERING PAST THAT POINT WHICH MAKES YOU NEARLY VEER INTO OTHER LANES. IT IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION THAT IS WELL KNOWN ALL OVER THE INTERNET. THERE ARE RECALLS ON SOME OF THE CRV VEHICLES FOR THIS EXACT SAME PROBLEM, HOWEVER NOT FOR MY VEHICLE. i WAS QUOTED $6000 TO FIX IT AND AFTER I INQUIRED DEEPER WITH HONDA ABOUT THIS BEING AN ONGOING ISSUE WITH OTHERS I WAS SUDDENLY ONLY RESPONSIBLE FOR $2000 OF THE COST. I FEEL STRONGLY THAT HONDA KNOWS OF THIS PROBLEM AND IS STILL MAKING CONSUMERS PAY FOR THE BAD PARTS THEY HAVE PUT ON THEESE STEERING SYSTEMS. THIS PROBLEM IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS AND SOMEONE WILL LIKELY BE KILLED OVER HONDA NOT STARTING A RECALL ON THIS.

NHTSA #11671078

found steering sticking as there was resistance.

NHTSA #11665466

Reporting this early. Left a message with the dealership today. Steering is clicking and pulling to the right. I do not see a recall yet for 2019 yet but do see for other years of CRV.

NHTSA #11666136

My Steering has been very sticky on oy 2019 CRV. It makes creaking noises when I even slightly touch the wheel. They told me today I need a new rack and pinion. I only have 76,000 miles on this vehicle. There was a recall early on that had to do with steering and I feel like this is related. They're acting like it's not. I just don't think I should have to spend $5,800 on a car that I should be able to drive a very long time! 76,000 miles is nothing on a honda!

NHTSA #11662229

The steering in my 2019 Honda CRV started sticking when turning, almost like it was clicking into notches. There were no warning messages that anything was wrong. Brought the car to the dealer who determined the power steering rack needed to be replaced at the cost of $4579. Not doing so was a safety issue as the steering could lock up. I'm the original owner of the vehicle which has less than 30,000 miles, lives in a garage, has been well maintained by Honda's service department, and isn't driven in harsh conditions, so was shocked to hear this and questioned a defect in the part. Local dealer contacted Honda Corporate on my behalf and I was offered a 80% discount for the repair out of good will as a longstanding customer. I had the work done to avoid driving an unsafe vehicle. Based on recalls with steering racks in newer models, I am questioning whether the recall should not extend to earlier models. I do not have any of the replaced parts.

NHTSA #11663140

Our 2019 Honda CRV is experiencing steering problems. The steering sticks or feels heavy and makes a clicking noise. When driving, especially in curves, the steering sticks and causes over steering. This almost caused an accident when it stuck going around a curve and I had to apply additional pressure to the steering wheel to correct the turn. The problem began around may of 2025 and has grown more prevalent. At first I thought it might be the lane keeping assist function, but as I researched for answer's on why the steering felt sticky I found it is a common problem with CRV’s. There is a recall for 2019 models, but my VIN isn’t covered in this recall. The steering intermittently sometimes feels heavy, like the power steering isn’t working. The problem is worsening and becoming a safety issue when it sticks hard. This hasn't been diagnosed with the dealer. I did speak with my local service rep at the local Honda dealer but they weren't any help. There were no warning lamps. As it worsens it's becoming a major safety issue with my CRV. It doesn't matter what my MPH is, slow or fast, the sticky steering is an issue.

NHTSA #11675062

My Honda CRV 2019 has about 70K miles on it. About a month ago, I started noticing the steering wheel becoming sticky. I would start to turn the wheel very slight and nothing would happen. Then it would catch up but i feel I have turned the wheel too much and now have to over-correct for it. This has a become a problem on highway driving as I feel I am all over my lane. I have seen the recalls for similar issues but this model is currently not under recall for this issue.

NHTSA #11660757

Needs Steering Gear Box replaced. Vehicle has 88,800 miles RACK ASSY., POWER STEERING (EPS)(SERVICE) (STEERING GEARBOX) Steering majorly affected. Confirmed by the dealer and currently at a dealer for repair Called Honda Customer service and they suggested that I put in the notice as there is a recall on the same part for CRV's but not my VIN number No warning lamps or messages, steering just became difficult

My 2019 Honda CRV steering system is malfunctioning, As I am driving straight the steering wheel wants to turn in either direction without me turning the steering wheel or having any intention of turning at all.I am driving straight, the problem happens at all times at all speeds, I don't feel safe driving my vehicle, I feel it may cause an accident, my vehicle was taken to a local Honda dealer, Honda Cars of Mckinney in Mckinney Tx, vehicle was inspected, they were able to duplicate my concern at parking lot speeds as stated on the dealer's diagnostics report, diagnostics report attached, dealer refused to fix it because they said there's no open recalls for my vehicle, However there's a recall for the same vehicle all trim levels model years 2017 and 2018 but they said even though it's the same problem it doesn't apply to my vehicle because it's 2019 model, the issue started about six weeks ago and it seems to be getting worse, I also contacted Honda headquarter who also refused to fix my vehicle.

After driving the vehicle for approximately one hour on the freeway, the steering begins to feel jerky (sticky), requiring greater force to steer car. It is almost like fighting against the lane assist feature but that feature is turned off. This does not happen while driving shorter distances around town.

NHTSA #11655921

My steering wheel is sticking. Especially noticeable when driving on highway. It’s like it won’t move then when it does it over corrects.

NHTSA #11658314

There is a "sticky" feeling when steering, particularly when veering or turning right. My local Honda service department identified it as a defective steering gearbox and estimates that it will cost about $5,100 to fix it. I contacted Honda and was told that my specific VIN is not part of the recall associated with steering issues; they also refused to add it or cover my repairs.

NHTSA #11657300

The steering wheel "sticks" when steering, particularly when veering or turning right. My local Honda service department identified the issue as a defective steering gearbox, with a repair cost of $5,115.44. I contacted Honda and was told that my specific VIN is not part of the recall associated with steering issues. Honda refused to add my VIN to the recall and initially refused to cover my repairs. I called again and received a "good will" offer of $3,000 towards repairs. I pointed out that since the issue is a manufacturing defect and other CRVs have been recalled for the same reason, Honda should pay for the entire repair cost. Again they refused and gave me 30 days to think about their offer. I wrote a letter addressed to Mr. Ozawa, director of traffic safety, urging him to take responsibility for the known defect. Honda refused to increase their good will offer. I requested the offer in writing but was refused. I accepted the offer and scheduled the repairs. In the end Honda didn’t honor its good will offer and only paid $2,210 towards repairs. My only solace is knowing that all my calls were recorded (unless they lied about this too) and there's a record of the offer.

The contact owns a 2019 Honda CR-V. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle became difficult to maneuver. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer where it was diagnosed that the steering rack needed to be replaced. The contact researched and was made aware of an unknown NHTSA recall; however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 82,000.

Fuel/Propulsion System16 quejas

The low pressure fuel pump cannabilized itself and sent debris down the fuel line to the high pressure fuel pump which damaged it. I brought the vehicle to Meineke of Warner Robins and they confirmed the issue with other Honda dealerships in the middle Georgia area. Even though there is a safety recall (21V-215) for the model year of my vehicle, my VIN doesn't populate as one of the batches being affected by the recall. To be clear, the issue does match the recall notice description but is not reported as one of the affected VINs.

NHTSA #11728520

Fuel injector was replaced part number 06160-5pa-305. It is available to be inspected and I have the failed parts in my possession. This was inspected and identified by an independent service center. Power steering system problem light on main dash alerting with break system alert. The car had been driven immediately prior with no warning signs and no alert lights on the dash and almost a full tank of fuel. Vehicle was parked and running when alerts appeared. Even though the car was in park it rolled forward when foot was taken off the brake and required the emergency break to be used. This put my safety at risk because had this happened 2 minutes prior I would have been driving in a school zone where there was heavy traffic and steering and braking are essential. I plan to take the car to the Honda dealership to have the work inspected. The vehicle has 68,001 miles on it at the time of the issue.

Shortly after parking car in garage and with garage door left open for ~ five minutes before closing, a strong fuel smell filled garage [where there are no other fuel sources]. Thoroughly inspected floor, on hands and knees, under car and there was no liquid on the floor. Toxic fuel smell unsafe for humans. Dealer could not duplicate issue yet said fuel mix ratio was out of specification yet just short of the tolerance to illuminate Engine Service Light. No other inspections have been made. Many online forums show 2019 CR-V owners with same symptoms and that Honda is investigating.

NHTSA #11706716

Dealer inspected my 2019 Honda CR-V on 12/18/2025 and informed me that 3 of my 4 fuel injectors need to be replaced. When the problem occurred, my safety was at risk, and others could have been put at risk because the vehicle stalled and smoke came out, indicating something was burning. I visited the dealer for this problem because they replaced the defective/recalled fuel pump in January 2025. The smell of gas, stalling, and smoke indicated fuel problems associated with the original fuel pump recall. No warning lamps or messages or any other symptoms of the issue before the failure. This came out of nowhere. I had the vehicle serviced by the same dealer for an oil change during the Thanksgiving week, and the dealer did not report any issues to me. Shockingly, my vehicle is not on the recall list, since this is obviously a HONDA DEFECT and nothing I did. The car has low mileage, only 26,000 miles, and fuel injectors failing with this low mileage is unheard of. Shame on HONDA for not fixing this for free and sticking their customers with a high repair bill since the car is out of the original warranty period, and an extended warranty was not put in place by HONDA for this VIN. I contacted the HONDA corporate office to open a reimbursement case, but they said it could take months for a decision because there are so many consumer complaints. Please open an investigation into the failing fuel injectors to make HONDA responsible for their defective cars.

NHTSA #11706000

My 2019 Honda CR-V EXL has all dash warning lights on, and the diagnostic code causing the issue is for fuel injectors. Upon my research this is a very, very common issue with this year model. It is an expensive one, at that. I was driving when all warning lights came on, and my car lost power in the middle of a busy highway and would not accelerate. The car sputtered and lost power and the warning lights all come on simultaneously. I could have had a wreck because of faulty manufacturer parts that because of the expense, Honda refuses to admit are the problem and replace for the safety of their customers. As for the fuel pump recall, every single time I call my local dealership, they tell me the fuel pump parts are on back order!! I just want the faulty manufacturer parts on my car that I pay for, FIXED.

On November 14, 2025 my 2019 Honda CR-V, which has 1.5 liter turbo engine, with 60,400 miles was diagnosed by Williamsburg Honda with oil dilution caused by the injectors. The mechanic wrote "engine is running rich, falied cyclinder A/F test in cylinder #2, random misfire detected in all cylinders...engine oil is fuel fouled due to failed fuel injector." On November 17, 2025, Williamsburg Honda replaced the injectors. On 3 February 2025, this vehicle had its fuel pump replaced pursuant to NHTSA 23V-858.

•What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? oThe component that was identified as the issue was the fuel injectors had a leak, causing them to not get enough fuel. •How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? oI was told by the dealership that if not fixed, the leak would get bigger over time and could cause the engine to stall. I was told by the dealership that they were seeing more and more of these cases and had replaced the injectors on a year-old model the prior week to recommending the replacement for our vehicle. •Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? oI took the vehicle into our local Honda dealership to have them diagnose the cause. •Has the vehicle or component been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or others? oUnknown •Were there any warning lamps, messages, or other symptoms of the problem before the failure, and when did they first appear? oThe car would flash various warning lights, not pointing to a single system. Then it would stop for a few days, only to pop up again a day later.

the vehicle took a long time to start, was shaking and all warning lamps were on the dashboard. I took it to a Honda dealer and the code was P0087 Fuel Rail pressure too low. There was a recall for the lower pressure fuel pump, so they replaced it, but they are also claiming that the high pressure fuel pump needs to be replaced and is not under a recall. I see there is a a recall for 2023-2025 models, but not my vehicle (2019). I will be stuck with a $2,000 repair.

The fuel injectors on my 2019 CR-V need to be replaced at 68k miles. This is a known issue with recall. While fuel injectors are not "safety" items themselves - when there is a fuel injector issue (as has been reported here on this website and other websites a significant amount of times), numerous safety features of the CR-V are disabled by the issue directly related to the fuel injector issue. A listing of some of those safety related items that are disabled by the fuel injector problem are: - Adaptive Cruise control - Collision Mitigation - Road Departure Mitigation - Vehicle Stability Assist - Hill Start Assist - Electric Parking Brake - Tire Pressure Monitoring. Additionally, some CR-V's have reported being put in limp mode while on the highway, which very well could be a safety related issue; especially to younger and older drivers not used to a car suddenly going from 60MPH to 25MPH and they have to make split second decisions to safely pull over.

I took my car to Diamond Valley Honda in Hemet to do a recall service for the fuel pump. When I got home, I noticed there was a fuel leak underneath the car coming from under the fuel tank. What can I do?

When I went to turn on my car, on May 15, 2025, all my warning lights started flashing. It stated multiple system failures and my car started sputtering a bit. I attempted to drive it that way because I really needed to get to work. I was able to get to work but was driving very slow because I had my son with me. When school let out I started my car and all the system failure lights started flashing again. The car started sputtering and shaking again. When I went to leave my school’s parking lot I pressed on the gas pedal and my car barely moved. This happened on a busy street causing the cars behind me to brake quickly since I had no power to get out of their way. I thought I was going to get rear ended with my son in the backseat. I was able to get back into my school’s parking lot and shut off the car. I had to have the car towed to my nearest Honda dealer where it sat overnight since it was towed there right before closing. They diagnosed the vehicle as having a failed fuel injector spill gas into my oil tank and cause a complete mess in my engine. Spark plugs got burnt out as well. Turns out this is a recurring issue with 2019 Honda CRVs. This failure cost me a lot of money that has caused me financial difficulties. This problem needs to be addressed and all 2019 CRVs should be included in this recall. I’m so scared to drive my car but can’t afford to get another car. I should also get reimbursed for the cost of having the fuel injectors replaced. I’m terrified that I’ll get into an accident next time and that my son could possibly get hurt or die. Please help.

A fuel injector issue disables KEY safety features of our CR-V's when it occurs. (ex. Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, TPS, Hill Start Assist, Braking, etc...) Check Engine light comes on. All warning lights are turned on randomly (Electronic brake system, TPMS, Hill Climb assist, etc) remain on for some time (a few minutes, hours, days), and then all of these warnings vanishes after some time and driving a few miles (this also varies, sometimes warning stays for multiple days. I don't know if the car is dangerous to drive or not with EVERYTHING flashing and beeping.

The fuel injectors on my vehicle at 99000 seemed to turn all warning lights on my dashboard. There was no issues with my vehicle, I got an emissions test done, then 5 minutes later driving away all warning lights came on my dashboard. I brought to orielys autoparts and had the computer scanned, and it turned out the fuel was too rich in bank one. This is the second vehicle I had that had fo have fuel injectors replaced under 100k miles. My first was a honda civic LX with 88k miles and now this one. The vehicle is currently at a shop about to be repaired. The danger is that all dashlights came on while driving. The vehicle was inspected at schaumburg Honda. My vehicle has recently had the fuel pump recall fix, and then it was installed incorrectly. I have read several honda forums where the same thing is happening to other honda owners at low mileage. Seems that this is pretty frequently happening.

While driving on a straight, flat road with no other vehicles close in the front or to my rear the brakes came on without warning. I pulled over to the side of the road because it was really scary. Once I calmed down I continued driving without further incident. When I got to my grandsons school parking lot I called the Honda dealership that I purchased the car from and asked the service person if they had any issues like this. She stated that "the phantom breaking happened at times" and that it "was not a big deal". After looking on line one suggestion was to clean around the sensor in the Honda emblem and the windshield around the rear view mirror. I've owned the car since 2019 (original owner) and have 72K miles on the vehicle. The only recent problem was I had to replace the original battery on 05/31/26 which was done by a AAA representative. I've had no other issues to date, but this breaking issue if it persists seems like it could be very dangerous.

Driving in downtown area, decelerating for stop sign, maybe going 20 mph, when "brake!" illuminated on dash and vehicle abruptly came to a complete stop. It seems the automatic emergency braking system engaged and stopped the vehicle. Seat belt locked and items on seats were thrown to floor. Nothing was in the roadway other than driving over a flat metal road construction plate that was placed in the lane, covering trench work done to the road. I was traveling on highway going posted speed of 70mph. There were no cars anywhere close to front of vehicle. Car automatically braked HARD, locking the seatbelt and throwing everything in car forward. It was not a "warning" brake it was a ridiculously HARD brake to attempt to stop car. I am shocked and amazed it did not cause accident or flip. As a result of this sudden hard stop, I have having back and neck pain as well as chest and shoulder pain. There was no reason for this to occur, there was nothing in front of the vehicle at all. There were however cars behind that nearly hit me. I may seek medical if back, neck and shoulder continue to hurt.

On October 7, 2025, I was driving to work. There was a steel metal plate of approximately 1 inch height lying flat on the roadway, presumably to cover up a pothole or other utility work. The steel metal plate was near an intersection where I was to be turning left. I was driving relatively slow as it was almost time to make the left turn, about 15-20 mph. When I was almost upon the steel metal plate my car braked to a complete stop because of the Collision Mitigation Braking System. The intense deceleration has had my back in pain all day, and my neck is slowly starting to hurt as well. I feel like I was in a car accident from how quickly my car came to a stop over what appeared to be the steel plate tripping the CMBS. My vehicle is available for inspection upon request. My safety was at risk due to the back and neck pain I am currently experiencing. If a car had been driving behind me, I would have almost certainly been rear ended which could have created further injury. This feature cannot be permanently disabled and needs to be able to be. It's an undue burden on the driver of the car to have to turn it off every time the car starts. I am concerned someone else will drive my car and not know to turn off that feature and they will be injured or in an accident.

Last week, the collision avoidance braking system activated without being triggered by an actual hazard. I was traveling btw 30 and 40 mph on a straight road, overcast conditions, no pedestrian or oncoming traffic or vehicle in front of me, nor any shadows, or roadworks that could be perceived as a problem. My car flashed the BRAKE sign and immediately braked very hard, car coming to a full stop. LUCKILY no one was behind me, or I'm sure i would have been rear-ended. I was able to continue driving normally right away, but It was very alarming and unsettling to happen with no provocation. This has been reported by others. I disabled the avoidance braking system for the next few days until I could get the car into my local dealer which happened today, 4/29/25. They ran complete diagnostics, could not replicate the problem, confirming the camera and forward radar sensor were working properly. I have never had any warning lights or messages come on prior or since, and the car has otherwise performed very well. Needless to say, I have less confidence in this car now. I was advised to NOT disable the warning/braking system as without it, i could not be protected by it should it be truly needed. This makes me very uncomfortable, but i don't feel there is another choice at this time.

The battery dies of unknown causes and goes to 0 when parked and not in use. Body control module (BCM) was diagnosed as the potential problem by Honda dealer. But even after the brand new BCM module was installed (after lengthy procurement time), the problem is still not fixed. The battery dies completely - same as before. There is no pro-active warning sign of this issue. I believe Honda has recalled BCM in other models but they should do the same for CRVs too. What are we to do if the engine suddenly stops running due to 0 battery charge in a distant location (and god forbid while we are driving on the road). Appreciate your attention to this issue. The vehicle began experiencing engine roughness during cold starts, with the engine running extremely rough for several seconds before stabilizing. This condition worsened over approximately one week. Shortly after, multiple warning lights illuminated simultaneously across the dashboard, including systems unrelated to the engine. The vehicle then entered a reduced power or “limp” mode, making it unsafe to operate. The vehicle could not exceed approximately 10 mph, creating a hazardous condition in normal traffic. The vehicle was taken to a repair facility and diagnosed with a failed head gasket. This diagnosis was confirmed by a dealership, which quoted approximately $6,100 for repair. The failure occurred without warning beyond the initial cold start roughness and progressed rapidly, significantly impacting the safety and usability of the vehicle. This issue presents a serious safety concern due to sudden loss of power and inability to maintain safe driving speeds. Based on widely available owner reports and similar complaints, this appears to be a recurring issue affecting this vehicle model and engine type. There are also known legal actions related to similar failures in other markets, suggesting a potential systemic defect rather than an isolated incident.

Turbo charger failed at 107,000 miles, rendering the car unable to maintain highway speed. This made it difficult to stay with the flow of traffic putting the driver at risk for an accident. There were no warning lights prior to the event. The turbo charger was replaced at owners expense by a dealer in Montana so I am not sure the original part is available for inspection.

My 2019 Honda CRV just recently reached 120000 miles and turned on the check engine light, after doing a diagnostic at the dealer it turned out to be a blown head gasket which the 1.5 engine is notorious for and Honda hasn’t put out a recall out for this costly repair. It’s a very common issue that needs to be addressed by Honda before more owners have to spend their hard earned money on repairs for a known issue from the factory on these vehicles.

To Whom It May Concern, While driving my 2019 Honda CR-V AWD EX, multiple warning lights suddenly illuminated on the dashboard, including the Check Engine Light, VSA (Vehicle Stability Assist), TPMS, and Collision Mitigation System. This has occurred multiple times and appears to be a well-documented issue among other Honda CR-V owners. The dealer diagnosed a faulty fuel injector system (Code P0172 – System Too Rich) and recommended a full injector replacement. This issue matches known cases addressed under Honda TSB 19-072, but is not currently covered under a full recall. The sudden illumination of all warning lights, combined with reduced power, is a serious safety concern as it may cause loss of control or delayed response in critical traffic situations. We have been quoted between $1,200 and $2,500 to repair this issue, which is a significant expense for a defect Honda is already aware of. I believe this is a manufacturing defect that should be fully covered by Honda, along with any related systems affected by this issue. I was traveling on the highway when suddenly my car started shuddering and slowing down. It was heavy traffic and difficult to navigate to the right shoulder, and my car was nearly hit by a semi-truck. The engine was misfiring and the engine light blinking yellow. I was able to turn off and restart my car and make it home. The mechanic initially thought the issue was old spark plugs and ignition coils. Replacing them didn’t help. I was again on a highway when the issue happened again. I brought the car to the dealership and they said the fuel injectors needed to be replaced. I spent over $2k to replace them on 7/7/25. The problem hasn’t happened since.

Honda is not completing this recall in a reasonable manner, and despite claiming parts are available they are not. After two years of delays, and now threats that our registration will be not renewed if we do not perform the recall, Honda still does not have the parts. Furthermore, they want you to bring in the car, have it inspected, after which they will decide if they want to replace the part. The inspection is being done because the fuel pump may crack due to poor manufacturing practices; however, after an inspection they will not actually fix the defective part if they do not find a crack. This will surely result in failures later when the defective part eventually fails. In their process, some time after the inspection and after some time ordering it and receiving it, they will replace it, at their discretion. This is wholly absurd, and I encourage you to actually force Honda to perform this recall and replace these parts in a timely manner. Two years is more than enough time to produce 700,000 fuel pumps.

Without warning, my 2019 Honda CRV has repeatedly gone into limp mode, basically, immediately reducing speed to approximately 7 miles per hour. When this occurs, dash is lit up with numerous warning lights. My vehicle requires towing. This has occurred 4 times since May 20th, 2024. The reading has been consistent each time I have had it repaired; cylinder 3 misfire. I have taken my vehicle 3 times to a local mechanic and Clawson Honda, a dealer, the last time;July 29th. There is no warning this will occur. The safety issues are obvious. With the vehicle abruptly, basically, stopping, not only are passengers and drivers in my vehicle in eminent danger, but other drivers who may be trailing behind. I have had extensive conversations with Honda representatives. My vehicle was part of a recall soon after we purchased it. The recall information indicated a software issue that was identified as the same problem that is now happening with our vehicle. I believe there is a potential high risk issue with Honda software. The fuel injector valves started leaking resulting in a P0172 Rich Fuel mixture diagnostic code. When fuel injector valves leak gasoline into the engine oil it can cause an engine fire, severe damage to the engine and catalytic converter. My daughter was driving the car when this happened which makes me very upset that a known safety issue has not been addresses by the NHTSA or Honda. This effects millions of CRVs which is why Honda is fighting a recall and why the NHTSA must step in and fine Honda and force a recall. The potential for engines catching on fire should result in an immediate recall. When I talked to the Honda shop manager he told me that he is seeing several CRVs every week with faulty fuel injectors and quite frequently bad catalytic converters. This is a well-documented problem which makes me wonder why nothing has been done.

My 2019 Honda CR-V, which has the 1.5 liter turbo engine, with 78,000 started up with the dashboard lit up like a xmas tree and reported approx. a dozen faults of all safety features EPB, LKAS, Emissions, etc. It was diagnosed by Lester Glenn Honda in Wall, NJ with oil dilution caused by the leaky fuel injectors. The mechanic noted TDC P0172 - System Too Rich & P0301- cylinder 1 misfire and all fuel injectors failed A/F test. This vehicle had its fuel pump replaced earlier this year pursuant to the Honda recall for this (wondering if related). The same underlying problem was subject to a safety recall for the 2017-2018 model years, but the defect was not included for my 2019 model year even though it's the same 1.5L Turbo motor and there are numerous complaints from customers on the same exact issue. I was quoted over $2300 since it was past the warranty period (8k miles past the extended 7/70k emissions warranty that would have covered this 100%). Not only is this premature failure of critical engine component making the engine run very rough with a sudden and severe loss of powers, it produces a safety hazard of a direct rear-end crash risk due to the inability to maintain a safe operating speed. This is a significant expense for a defect Honda is already aware of. I believe this is a manufacturing defect that should be fully covered by Honda, along with any related systems affected by this issue. My father's Honda CRV, which I was driving, suffered a computer reset due to a low voltage drop. This was, in turn, due to a failing fuel injector. The computer reset disabled many safety systems and core systems, including the parking brake (which is electronic), as well as adaptive cruise control, the tire monitoring system and blind spot sensors, tire inflation warning, hill start feature, and many others. There were no warning signs prior to the reset. After calling the dealership and reporting these issues, they still advised me to drive into the dealership for service. Upon doing so, they diagnosed the failing fuel injector. At this point, I had done research on the issue and found hundreds of similar reports concerning Honda CRVs and models with the 1.5L Turbo engine. Despite warranty extensions for some vehicles, the dealership claims that our VIN is not covered under the warranty extension. This is obviously a manufacturing fault and a safety issue. Please investigate Honda and require them to, at a minimum, extend their warranties to all affected vehicles with this defect. We have detailed maintenance records at the same dealership we bought the car from. The vehicle is available for inspection, and I am including the dealership's diagnostic.

Did not see the normal "BRAKE" message as usually appears if you follow to closely for example and there was no car in front of me. It was a quick slam of the brakes, which threw my head forward and down suddenly, then released. I Continued driving and saw no warning lights or indication of a problem on the dashboard. However, when I parked the car and turned the engine off, it would not restart. Only clicked and displayed a continuous series of error messages on the dash including "Electronic Break System Failure" and others. The car would not start. I tried to start it multiple times until the battery eventually ran down. Called tow service and they jump started the car. All error messages reset and did not reappear. Electrical System problem //I am writing to formally raise a complaint regarding a recurring and serious issue with my 2019 Honda CR-V. Multiple dashboard warning lights turn on simultaneously without clear explanation. These lights are extremely distracting while driving and present a significant safety concern. What’s even more troubling is that we have no idea why these lights are coming on. This uncertainty puts us in a dangerous situation—driving without knowing whether the vehicle might stall, break down, or suffer another critical failure at any moment.Given that this appears to be a common issue among other CR-V owners, I strongly believe that Honda should take responsibility. At the very least, owners should be provided one free diagnostic service at an authorized dealership to determine the cause—especially if it’s related to a manufacturing or system defect. The stress and anxiety this has caused are considerable. In fact, the distraction caused by these lights nearly led to an accident. I hope NHTSA will take this matter seriously and offer support to affected customers before someone gets seriously hurt.

I am reporting a severe safety defect involving the engine and fuel injector system that began two months ago at ≈108k miles (now 109k miles). I have not yet taken the vehicle in for service due to the estimated high repair cost of $2,900. It is critical to note that the same underlying problem was subject to a safety recall for the 2017-2018 model years, but the defect was not fixed for my 2019 model year. This indicates a persistent manufacturing or design flaw that warrants an immediate investigation into my model year. The defect manifests regularly, causing a Cylinder 2 Misfire (P0302) and making the engine run very rough with a sudden and severe loss of power. This creates a direct rear-end crash risk due to the inability to maintain a safe operating speed. More dangerously, when the misfire occurs, the vehicle instantly disables critical driver assistance systems—Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Keep Assist (LKAS)—without any advanced warning. This malfunction is an unreasonable safety risk: CRASH HAZARD: The unprompted power loss and concurrent disabling of safety features create an immediate, dangerous situation. FIRE HAZARD: The persistent misfire strongly suggests a failed or stuck-open fuel injector, which causes fuel dilution of the engine oil. This contamination can lead to engine failure or, critically, a fuel leak onto hot engine components that poses an extreme fire risk. I urge NHTSA to investigate why this defect persists and to mandate a comprehensive recall to protect the public from this ongoing, life-threatening safety risk. The failed component may be available for inspection upon request.

The fault first appeared since April 2025 after the vehicle required a jump start. Independent Diagnosis: An ASE-certified independent service center confirmed the persistent TPMS communication code. Exhaustive diagnostics verified that the battery, charging, starting systems, and parasitic draw are all normal. The technician concluded the failure is systemic (likely software/module related) and requires Honda factory/dealer proprietary equipment to resolve. Honda’s Refusal & Barrier to Repair: The vehicle has not been inspected by a Honda dealership because Honda Corporate (Case #16008453) Case Manager Kevin created an unreasonable barrier to repair: Kevin closed the goodwill case and refused to cover the diagnostic fee necessary to identify the fault in this safety system. During the final call, Kevin denied escalation, contradicted corporate's prior confirmation of a supervisor request, and refused written documentation of the denial. Honda's refusal to cover the diagnostic fee for a documented failure in a mandated safety system prevents the required manufacturer-level testing and resolution. I am filing this complaint due to the safety risk and Honda's procedural failures.

My safety has been put at risk using these Bridgestone Ecopia (235/60R/18) tires. They were purchased in 2024 and after a little more than a year and 14,000K miles the front tires are wearing unevenly with little tread left and in need of replacement. There are two (2) known recalls and eight (8) consumer complaints about these tires (see attached). I am seeking reimbursement towards replacement tires I have complained to Honda (where tires were purchased) and the Better Business as well.

I have 2 issues with my car - the first one has been ongoing and I should have reported it sooner - when using cruise my car will sometimes brake for no reason, it's as if the car sees something that's not there. The second one just occurred and has only happened once. I was driving on the highway using cruise and I got a message on the dash that said something like cruise control disengaged - the cruise turned off and the gas pedal didn't work so I had to coast to the shoulder. Luckily, I didn't have to cross any lanes of traffic or it could have been extremely dangerous. I plan to contact the dealer as soon as I am done with this submission. I wanted to be able to tell them that I had notified the NHTSA.

Continuous illumination of all lights on the dash. We have to reset the battery to clear the codes and it will do it again but the timing differs. Now, I am getting the “Airbag SRS System Problem” that pops up and then goes away when the vehicle is restarted. This has been going on for over a year. We have replaced the alternator and continue to try and find the actual malfunction as a code reader just lists all things being illuminated. We are not the first, not the only, and definitely not the last crv owners with this issue. FIX THIS!!!! I’m highly disappointed in Honda.

Having done some research I discovered that my problem seems to be happening to a number of CRV owners. My signal lights are flickering while the car is turned off. I discovered that Honda had done a recall to fix this problem on several other models but not the CRV. From what I can determine is that this is a problem with the Body Control Module. I feel that there seems to be a lot of CRV with the same problem and maybe your Organization might want to look into this. To see what has been posted you can go to UTube and type in the link (2017 CRV lights flickering when car is off)

Lane Departure,Forward Collision Avoidance1 queja

I’m writing to report a recurring and increasingly dangerous issue with the CMBS (Collision Mitigation Braking System) in my vehicle. The problem began shortly after I purchased the car. The system would intermittently flash the word “BRAKE” and apply the brakes without any apparent reason. Initially, this was more of an annoyance, but it has since escalated into a serious safety concern. Most recently, while driving through an intersection with no vehicles in front or behind me, the system suddenly applied the brakes with significant force. This caused everything in the front seat to be thrown to the floor and forced me into the steering wheel. The weather was clear—no rain or sun glare—and there were no visible obstructions. Had there been a vehicle behind me, I believe a rear-end collision would have been likely due to the abrupt deceleration. I have brought the car to the dealership where I purchased it multiple times, but they were unable to replicate the issue and eventually asked me to stop bringing the vehicle in. I then tried a different dealership, but they also refused to investigate further since they couldn’t duplicate the problem. Even after disabling the CMBS system about a year after purchase, the issue has persisted. I’ve since learned that this issue is under investigation, and I want to formally express that I no longer feel safe driving this vehicle. I am requesting a resolution to this matter as soon as possible. Please let me know the next steps or if any additional information is needed. Electrical System,Forward Collision Avoidance1 queja

My 2019 Honda CR-V experienced a malfunction involving multiple dashboard warning lights illuminating at the same time, including warning messages related to vehicle systems and safety features. There is concern about the vehicle entering limp mode and being unable to accelerate normally. This creates a safety concern because the vehicle may not respond properly in traffic or during highway driving. The issue has been diagnosed by an independent mechanic, and diagnostic codes indicated a cylinder misfire/fuel system related problem. I have learned that many other Honda CR-V owners are experiencing the same issue involving multiple dashboard warning lights, fuel injector problems, fuel pump concerns, misfires, and repeated unsuccessful repairs. The vehicle has required diagnostic testing and repair recommendations that may cost thousands of dollars, yet many owners report the issue returning even after repairs. In my case, all warning lights illuminated simultaneously and the issue appears related to a larger recurring defect pattern affecting Honda CR-V vehicles. This problem poses a safety risk because the vehicle may lose power, hesitate, fail to accelerate properly, or become unreliable while driving. I am requesting investigation into this recurring issue affecting Honda CR-V vehicles.

The driver seatbelt failed to lock when rear end collision occurred and drivers face slammed into steering wheel. The steering wheel airbag failed to deploy when the car rear ended the vehicle in front of them. Drivers safety was jeopardized and now has severe concussion. Repair center stated seatbelt showed zero signs of locking and air bag should’ve deployed. Vehicle was inspected by insurance and was deemed a complete loss. No warning lights sounds or messages went off when vehicle was rear ended and front end collision.

My 2019 honda crv has been in and out of shops since April 1st. On april 1st lights popped on on my dashboard the lights were break system lights. All wheel drive system lights, and then the lane keep assist adaptive cruise ect were on and not operational. I looked up what could cause that to happen and it stated rear differential fluid could pop lights on. I took it to the dealership and stated it felt like it was running funny but the lights all went off before I got there but if they could do the rear diff fluid and run diagnostic just to be safe that'd be great. Diagnostic found nothing wrong g with my vehicle. A few days later the same lights came on and then multiple other lights came on, my boyfriend stated it could be electrical maybe spark plugs so we bought them and replaced them. Restarted the car and drove it they went off but then came back on next morning. Next solution was maybe my battery has gone bad. Bought a new battery in hopes it'd work and no luck. We pull out our code reader and it pulls a code for cam shaft position sensors so we purchase those and replace them and still no luck. I finally take it to a repair shop since there's nothing else we can do on our own to fix the issue and the repair shop has a hard time trying to diagnose the issue. They ran codes and tests trying to figure this out they checked the mechanical side of things since the dealership only checked electrical side of things and found that my car had debris in the oil. They began researching and finding the hondas in my year and make and model with the 1.5 turbo engines have a class action lawsuit due to oil dilution and after more digging they found that I did indeed suffer from this and would need an engine replacement due to the damage that has been done and that would be around 10k. Honda knowing sold me a vehicle that could have an issue like this. I bought the car used and kept up on all maintenance and now am having my car repossessed because I cant afford the repa
