New 2025 F150 Lariat with 3.5L V-6 Twin-Turbo Full Hybrid. Truck was sitting in garage and off when suddenly a message appeared on the digital speedometer area saying there was a powertrain fault. Truck only had 280 miles. At about 310 miles, service light came on indicating service was due. Checked FordPass app and the on board diagnostic program indicated there was a power train fault detected. I’ve checked several online forums and many owners are reporting that there are known Ford Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) regarding this issue and the issue has to due with faulty starter, alternator, and battery. Ford know about this issue and that it is common yet they have failed to issue a recall to fix all of these.

Traveling on 2 lane road with no vehicles ahead or behind—full roof sun roof glass exploded, loud gunshot sound and broken glass. Remaining glass bowed up and a lot of glass blow back on to bed cover. I walked several hundred feet on both sides of road and no cause apparent—no lawn or weed trimming happening. Clearly this exploded inside out.

Hello. I need to open a formal escalation regarding a serious safety recall on my 2025 Ford F-150 Lariat Hybrid. The recall is - rear axle half-shaft and hub assembly replacement. I contacted two dealerships: Metro Ford and Pines Ford. Both told me to just wait without giving any estimated date for part availability. Both dealerships also refused to provide a loaner vehicle while the recall remains open, even though this is a safety-related issue. One advisor even told me to continue driving the truck despite the possibility of axle failure or wheel separation. That is unacceptable. I do NOT feel safe operating this vehicle. I already filed an official safety complaint with NHTSA because this recall has been ignored for months, and I was denied safe transportation. I need this case escalated immediately to a Regional Customer Service Manager. I am requesting: a clear timeline and ETA for the part, a loaner vehicle until the repair is completed, OR a repurchase/replacement review if the recall cannot be resolved in a reasonable timeframe. Please create a case number and assign it to a regional manager. Thank you.

A piece of reflective cloth like material has fallen from underside of truck bed and onto tailpipe and begun to burn. This creates a fire hazard for anybody using this vehicle. I have two of these similar trucks and it’s happening to both of them before 500 miles.i don’t know if the issue has been verified of reproduced by anybody. The vehicle has not yet been inspected by the dealer or manufacturer. There were no warning lamps or symptoms prior to me finding this by chance as I was replacing a wheel.
NHTSA #11671811
I leased this vehicle as new a couple of months ago. The rear view camera was not working. The dealership in West Branch Michigan assured me that they would fix it. Subsequent visits and followup with dealership have been unsuccessful in the fix. During this time I almost ran over my grand daughter when backing up with no rear view camera. Very dangerous. Also any components relying on the rear view camera are also disabled. I beleive Ford has a concern in fixing this problem. It could result in a serious accident with pedistrian.

This truck has had numerous messages on the dashboard stating Reverse Brake Assist Not Available See Manual. Have taken to the Dealership and was told that there was no code and the couldn’t fix as the message wasn’t displayed. They said when it came on to bring it in. Long story short when message is displayed by the time you arrive it is gone. I have done the simple things like make sure sensors are clean, doors and hood is closed and the soft clear by unhooking the battery cable for 15 minutes. This whole mess started after a dash recall in the fall of 2025.What good is this for a safety feature to prevent reverse incidents if not working properly.

The Ford BlueCruise system almost got my family and myself rear ended with possibly a major injury to death. On our way to San Antonio, Texas from Houston, Texas we were driving across [XXX] withe the BlueCruise engaged. Then out of no where it started giving me the message to place my hands on the steering wheel. My hands were on the steering wheel. It gave me the message 3 times. Then it shook the steering wheel at the same time flashing Resume control. Then it slammed on the brakes. Luckily the truck behind us was paying attention and slammed on their brakes slowing their vehicle down. They drove around us. My wife asked if I did that and I said No, it was the truck. It also did it on the way back to Houston, Texas. After several times of the BlueCruise acting up, I took the truck back to the dealership. It was also turned in for the Brake system recall. iT has been at the dealership for just over a week now p w. The dealership; Tomball Ford, contacted me saying their technician and QC tech couldn't replicate the issue. So, i went up there and had; Ray, the QC tech ride with myself in the truck. Within a mile or 2 the truck's BlueCruise did exactly the same thing. We turned around to head back to the dealership and the truck did it again, but worse. This time the brakes engaged 3 to 4 times slowing the truck down from 60 mph to 30 mph and turning on the Hazard flashers before I turned it off. This time numerous vehicles slowed down and swerved to avoid rereading my truck with both myself and the Tomball Ford QC technician. All the QC technician said, was, "Oh, that's not supposed to do that." I was like [XXX] But your technician couldn't replicate that? The truck is in the shop, but I do have the messages from the service advisor; Ashly, from Tomball Ford. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

When the power went out all safety devices: 4-way hazards, parking brake, brakes, airbags, steering etc... were inoperable. The truck was towed to a Ford Dealer Garage in Manteno, Illinois about 150 miles from my home. The ford garage replaced the RL3Z-14A068-G Ford Panel Assembly-Fuse Junction Panel. The truck was in the shop for 7 days. I was never informed of the reason this junction panel assemble failed. This same truck was in the shop from May 27 - July 3, 2025 for a wiring harness concern with only 1,200. At first, they were going to replace the entire wiring harness, but eventually they repaired a loose pin. My truck has been in the shop for 45 days since purchasing it on April 18, 2025. My outstanding questions: Are the wiring harness and the panel assembly issues connected? Is it safe to drive my truck? I drove it home from 150 miles away from the breakdown. Since then, I have only driven it a few miles locally. My wife is hesitant to ride in the truck after the experience. I contacted Ford on June 4/5 and they connected me with the Ford service manager at Dixon Ford, in [XXX]. I asked that a Ford Service Engineer inspect the truck to trace any ghost resistance. He indicated that they were unable to perform this task at his place of service. The main concern I have: Is my truck safe to drive? We had initially discussed taking the truck on our 10-day trip to the Rocky Mountains, but opted for my wife's Highlander. Imagine if this failure occurred in the Rocky Mountains? Vehicle displayed Charge System Fault message on dash. Upon review at dealership they determined that alternator was bad and needed replaced. Vehicle has less than 15,000 miles on it. Took to dealership in mid-January and part is on national back order. Part not expected to be received by dealer until the end of March.

The truck has recently and randomly been making a very loud static/poping sound that actually sometimes hurts my ears. After this static continuously plays even when I reset the sync system, cycle the ignition or turn the volume to zero, it still continues. This is followed by a strong electrical burning smell. After 10 minutes this stops and the passenger side speakers are the only ones that work. The initial very loud pop/crackle is dangerous and has made me jump where it started me mid lane change as if something had collided with the truck. This lapse in concentration due to a natural startling reaction could cause an accident.

The electronic instrument cluster went completely dark and would not come on after turning off the vehicle and locking and unlocking the truck. The dealer reset the cluster, but claims it was simply "overloaded." This is a major drivability issue as there is no speedometer, no indication of what gear one is in, and the turn signals are inoperable. This is a known problem with no solution.

I own a 2025 Ford F-150 Lariat equipped with the factory Tow Package. The truck was sold to me and later serviced under the representation that the trailer brake controller was functional. Duvall Ford in Clayton, GA installed and programmed only a brake controller switch and assured me the trailer brakes were working, without performing a functional brake output test. The truck was later found to be missing the required Trailer Brake Control Module (TBCM), meaning no trailer brakes could ever function. As a result, I unknowingly towed a 30-foot travel trailer from North Carolina to California, across multiple states with zero trailer braking, creating multiple dangerous situations and close calls. Upon reaching California, Aaron Ford of Escondido inspected the vehicle and immediately identified the missing TBCM. They performed the proper repair, with an invoice of 1,043.00. The original dealer’s incomplete and incorrect service directly created this safety hazard. This issue may affect other F-150 trucks that were sold or serviced with incomplete brake controller systems due to Ford’s mislabeled parts catalog.

complete loss of brakes. there was zero response from the brake pedal for several complete pumps to the floor. after about 4 complete "stomps", the brakes locked, resulting in a violent and sudden stop. at the time, the dash began flashing multiple warning messages about display failure and also ABS failure and making many alarm sounds, further distracting me from dealing with a very dangerous situation. Had this occurred at speed and not at a fast idle speed, serious injury or death would likely have occurred. this is a Xcelerate fleet vehicle, and fleet services took the vehicle to a non-dealership shop, which claims to have fixed the problem but could not complete the recall repairs. fleet has only just today agreed to tow the vehicle to a Ford dealership for recall repair. This incident occurred on 9/26/2025.

While driving roughly 30-40mph, there was complete loss of brakes. complete soft pedal to the floor with no brake function. ABS and Brake lights flash on dash board, parking brake malfunction warning. No prior warnings, issues, messages indicating need for brake service. My wife and kids were in the car and were lucky to be on a street where we were able to coast to a stop. Any busy street or highway driving could have been sever accident/potential loss of life incident. The dealer said they have never seen this issue before and said they went through a bunch of control modules and simply reset and made software updates. I never received a confirmed "root cause". Dealer made above mentioned software updates and drove the car for 50 miles, claim the issue/service is complete and we need to take the car. No root cause, no confirmed component failure, etc. We do not feel safe taking delivery of the car. We have requested a Ford field service technician/engineer inspect the vehicle with no luck. we have started buy back/replacement process with Ford, no decision made - tells us we are subject to lemon law as if this is a "creature comfort" issue and that we need to take the car back.

I want to include an important detail about the accident involving my 2025 Ford F-150 (VIN: [XXX] ). Immediately before the collision, I experienced a sudden change in braking. The brake pedal became very hard, and the vehicle did not slow as expected even with increased pressure on the pedal. This condition lasted for a few seconds and significantly reduced my ability to stop. The auto braking feature also did not activate. There were no clear warning indicators at the time, and the event happened very quickly. Based on how the vehicle responded, it felt like a loss of brake assist. My vehicle collided with a semi truck, totalling the front end. I was very lucky to walk away alive. Thankfully airbags and my seat belt saved me. I am reporting this as part of the incident record in case it is relevant to the cause of the accident. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

While driving slowly in a traffic queue, the driver applied the brakes to stop behind the vehicle ahead. The ABS activated unexpectedly, causing the truck to lurch/jump forward instead of stopping smoothly. The driver was forced to steer left to avoid a collision, but the vehicle ultimately struck the car in front, damaging the left front of the truck. No injuries occurred. This is not the first time this behavior has been observed in this vehicle, and the vehicle had previously been inspected by an authorized Ford dealership for similar braking behavior without resolution. The incident occurred at low speed in stop-and-go traffic conditions. The vehicle is currently at a Ford dealership for repair related to this incident.

While driving, a vehicle began stopping in front of me. I attempted to stop, however my braking power seemed heavily reduced. Eventually the emergency automatic braking kicked in and engaged my emergency brake. I barely stopped in time. Simultaneously, several warning lights appeared on my dash including ABS, traction control, hill assist, and check engine. Immediately after the incident, my brake pedal felt loose. Braking power was severely diminished and delayed. Stopping while going a mere 5 mph would take about 10 yards. It was extremely dangerous and scary to operate - even to pull into the nearest safe parking lot. Upon restarting my vehicle twice, the lights went off except for the check engine light and my braking power returned.

I am submitting a formal complaint regarding a safety-related issue with my 2025 Ford F-150, 5.0, that began immediately following recent recall service on the brake booster system. Since the recall work was completed, the ABS system has been producing a loud electrical rattling or grinding noise during vehicle takeoff. This noise is consistent and occurs at low speeds when accelerating from a stop. Prior to the recall service, this issue was not present. Given that this problem appears to be directly related to the anti-lock braking system, I am concerned about the safety and reliability of my vehicle. The ABS system is critical for maintaining control and braking performance, and any malfunction or abnormal behavior raises serious concerns about potential failure or degraded performance. Please treat this matter with urgency, as it involves a critical safety system. I expect prompt resolution and clear communication regarding the findings and corrective actions.

Parking break fault warning light service now light comes on intermittently when the parking break was set. The ford dealer I bought the truck from found a leaking rear left break line and replaced the left rear parking break motor assembly. The Warning light kept coming on intermittently when setting the parking break after this repair. I took it to my local ford dealer who said nothing was wrong. I’m now on a trip and the warning light continues to intermittently come on. Took it to another ford dealer who reconnected a wire and said if that didn’t work it needed a new ABS module. I continued on my trip and the warning light kept coming on. Stopped at another ford dealer who cleaned up some connectors. The warning light kept coming on and I took it back. Now they think it needs a new ABS module and said it is back ordered for 2 months and I’m a 1000+ miles from home.

The contact owns a 2025 Ford F-150. The contact stated while driving approximately 80 MPH with the Adaptive Cruise Control activated, the vehicle unexpectedly veered toward an 18-wheeler while passing. The driver’s hands were not on the steering wheel during the failure, and the driver was attentive and was not distracted, and was actively monitoring the roadway. The Adaptive Cruise Control system independently disengaged. The driver was able to regain control of the vehicle and later reactivated the Adaptive Cruise Control and the vehicle operated normally. There were no warning lights illuminated. The local dealer was not contacted. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 19,000.

Ford BlueCruise steering oscillation •Date/Time: October 17, 8:00 PM •Location: Hempstead, Texas •System: Ford BlueCruise (hands‑free lane‑centering/driver‑assist) BlueCruise was engaged in hands‑free mode when, without driver input, the system became confused and initiated repeated left/right steering corrections. The vehicle weaved within the lane several times in quick succession, requiring immediate intervention to maintain control and prevent a collision. After I took over, the vehicle tracked normally with manual steering. This behavior represents a serious safety hazard.

On October 12 at approximately 6:25 PM in Texas City, TX, while Ford BlueCruise (hands‑free) was active, the vehicle abruptly steered left, crossing into the left lane toward the left‑side barrier. I immediately took control and counter‑steered to keep the vehicle in its lane and avoid a collision. No contact occurred, but the maneuver created an imminent risk of loss of control and impact with the barrier or another vehicle. This appears to be unsafe/erratic lane‑centering behavior by BlueCruise.

On the morning of Wednesday May 28, 2025 I walked out to 2025 Ford F-150 (5200 miles) when it suddenly sounded as if someone shoot a gun towards me. After standing back up I saw the rear glass had shattered looking as if it exploded from inside out due to the glass being in truck bed and not inside back seat. The four corners of glass were all broken off with giant hole in middle. The truck engine was not on and I had front passenger door open. I called Ford and they stated that they have never seen or heard of this, although I googled it and have seen many forums on same thing happening, and that they are not responsible. It is crazy to think about this happening if I had been driving when this happened and the potential accidents this could have caused on the road.

The tail lights have a design flaw that results in micro cracks appearing in the lights. This is similar to the issue related to the rear light bar, however it applies to the rear tail lights. (for reference the ford recall for he light bar is here: Recall Reference Number 23S30. The result in my vehicle is that the left tail light is now filled with moisture, full water droplets. This is both for the red tail light as well as the white backup light. When these lights fail it will cause a safety issue. Additionally, the same light housing includes the backup sensors, so when they fail there will be no backup alert. My left tail light is already filled with water like I mentioned. A perfectly symmetrical crack is forming on the right tail light although there is no visible water in that light yet. This should be fixed under a recall by ford since I did not cause the cracks in the tail lights.

While traveling on vacation April 15, my 2025 F150 truck suffered a total loss of forward momentum on the highway and in city of Los Angeles —a severe safety failure. The repairing Ford dealership, diagnosed a factory-born "OPEN" in the main wiring harness (#14A005) behind the dash (DTCs P2128/P2138). To rectify this assembly-line defect, the dealership had to completely remove the dashboard (Instrument Panel). As an experienced truck owner, I know that an invasive repair of this magnitude on a brand-new vehicle significantly increases the risk of long-term electrical issues and permanent dashboard rattles. My confidence in this specific vehicle has been severely compromised.

•Date/Time: October 22, 5:11 PM •Location: Fulton, Texas •Symptoms: Shifter stuck down/stowed; would not un‑stow despite repeated attempts, power cycles, and multiple drivers •Frequency: First observed on the date/time above; persisted through multiple attempts •Component(s): Power Train (shifter/Gear Shift Module), Electrical System On October 22 at 5:11 PM in Fulton, TX, the console‑mounted power‑folding shifter on my Ford F‑150 Lightning became stuck in the downward/stowed position and would not return to the upright (un‑stowed) position. Because it would not un‑stow, I could not select a gear and the vehicle was effectively inoperable. I pressed the shifter stow/un‑stow button multiple times, cycled the vehicle power off/on several times, and had multiple drivers attempt to operate it. The shifter remained stuck each time. This appears consistent with Ford CSP 25B09 (Gear Shift Module failure to stow/unstow) and related TSB 25‑2045 for Lightning models describing symptoms such as “shifter will not stow/unstow” or “will not shift out of gear.” After abandoning the vehicle for several hours in the not running state and then returning, I was able to unstow the shifter by pressing the button and drive away normally. This condition presents a safety hazard because the vehicle can become immobilized without the ability to select drive or reverse if the failure occurs in traffic or other unsafe locations.

The truck has approximately 5,000 miles. When adaptive cruise control is engaged, the vehicle accelerates on its own to 85 mph whenever the posted speed limit changes, and there are no available settings to prevent this. For example, if the speed limit is 55 mph and adaptive cruise control is set to 55 mph, when the limit changes to 65 mph the truck automatically increases speed to 85 mph without driver input. Additionally, Apple CarPlay does not connect or function in the vehicle. The truck was taken to the dealership for this issue on 11/21/25 and has since been in and out of service multiple times, often remaining there for weeks at a time, for the same unresolved problems.

NHTSA #11694877
Rear view camera intermittently failed to display image when truck arrived to dealer from manufacturer in Jun 2025 before purchase. Problem confirmed by dealer. Camera replaced by dealer but problem persisted within weeks of purchase. Rear view camera displayed distorted (inverted/reversed) images, flickered on/off, then finally completely failed again. Images/video of camera failing captured and provided to dealer who was able to reproduce problem but has been unable to fix problem over past 4 months due to a reportedly backordered part (coaxial cable). Lack of rear view camera reduces rear visibility when in reverse increasing risk of collision and increases risk of injury to pedestrians, particularly small children. Problems sound identical to those described in media reporting for multiple other Ford recalls on back-up cameras for other models and model years of the F150 raising suspicion that recall may need to be expanded to 2025 F150s

I would like to discuss a failure and concern with my new 2025 Ford F150. The Failure: While driving down the highway with Blue Cruise engaged and in control, the truck quickly veered off to the right. I immediately grabbed the steering wheel to correct the direction of the truck to avoid being driven off the road by the system. Based on the photo (attached) I have attached, it appears the Blue Cruise system possibly became confused with these lines in the road. Had I not corrected the vehicle, the truck quite possibly could have continued veering to the right, causing a catastrophic vehicle crash. I have attached a photo for your viewing. The Concern: The second issue relates to the F150s transmission. Like my 2021 F150, the 2025 F150 continues to exhibit the same concern with the transmission shifting hard (with a thud) from Park to Drive and similarly when stopped at a light to engaging the gas pedal. This leaves me to believe there will be transmission failure at some point due to the hard jerks. What is going on Ford??

My wife was parking our F150 in a parking lot with landscaped dividers I was a passenger. The vehicle was in one foot driving mode. As she approached the curb going 1 to 3 mph, she moved her foot from the accelerator to the brake. As soon as she left the accelerator the vehicle rocketed off. She put her foot down on the brake, but the power of the vehicle was so great and so fast the vehicle went over the curb and a 4 inch landscaping tree. Luckily we were facing a drive on the other side and not a car. The vehicle stopped in the drive. The surge possibly lasted 1-2 seconds, but that was enough to lose complete control. If we were facing another car we would have landed on top of it. We were not injured and no pedestrians were in the vicinity. The body shop and the Ford dealership were unable to tell us what occurred. Ford needs to access the EDR module. Online research shows this event has happened to other owners.

I have repeatedly received an error on my vehicle dashboard stating " 1 pedal drive fault: Press break pedal to reduce speed". I have taken my vehicle to the dealer twice for this and was told both times that it was not reproducible and therefore nothing that could be fixed. I was told there was an active recall and that it has been repaired. When I am parking the truck, I press and hold the brake pedal, While the truck shifter in in "Drive", I press the start/stop button to shut truck down, the shifter gets stuck in "drive" and doesn't automatically shift in to park. The truck locks down and will NOT operate as the shifter locks in "drive" and won't shift. This happened to me while travelling and was stuck in middle of no where for hours. Here are some troubleshooting tips from various Reddit posts... Immediate Troubleshooting Steps Battery Disconnect: Disconnect both 12V battery terminals (including the small one, if equipped) for 5-10 minutes to reset the system. Manual Park Release: Locate the manual release lever (often under a small cover near the shifter or under the steering wheel) to force it into Park. Restart Sequence: Turn the truck off, wait 1-2 minutes, and attempt to restart. Check Battery Voltage: A weak battery (under ) can cause shifter interlock issues.

Malfunction components: Maybe Speed related components and safety features. The airbag did not deploy and non of all the safety features the vehicle has did not activated. The safety risk was extremely serious. The vehicle went over the concrete parking stopper, tore it off, and then crashed into a concrete column at AutoZone. If anyone had been walking in front of the vehicle, the outcome could have been catastrophic. Despite the impact, the airbags did not deploy and none of the vehicle’s safety systems activated. After the incident, I went to the ER due to pain in both hands, shoulder pain, back pain, and pain in my feet. I was evaluated for these injuries as a precaution. A police incident was done. We have a number. Because it was on private. property there is not a report, but they gave us a police incident number. No warnings, symptoms prior to the incident. It was a dry day, not rain. While backing at low speed in a residential driveway, the vehicle struck a parked car causing significant damage. No ADAS safety systems activated: reverse automatic braking did not engage, no parking sensor warnings sounded, no audible or visual alerts occurred. The vehicle made no attempt to slow or stop despite approaching a large stationary obstacle. The vehicle has two open unrepaired recalls at the time of incident: Recall 25V488 (Electronic Brake Booster): EBB module may shut off unexpectedly during ADAS use. The EBB is integral to the electronic braking system ADAS relies on to autonomously apply brakes. If faulted, reverse automatic braking cannot engage regardless of sensor detection. Software fix was available but never applied. Ford documented 37 warranty claims and one crash before issuing this recall. Recall 25V863 (Integrated Park Module): May fail to lock into park. Remedy not yet available. The vehicle provided zero warning of degraded safety capability. No dashboard indicators or alerts that ADAS was unavailable. Multiple overlapping systems failed simultaneously suggesting cascading failure from the EBB fault or multiple independent defects. Ford SSMs 52161, 49767, and 50360 document known Lightning issues with inoperative park aid and reverse brake assist unavailability. The recall notice emphasizes brake pedal feel but does not clearly communicate that the defect can disable automatic emergency braking. Consumers may delay repair not realizing ADAS is compromised. While using the vehicle’s BlueCruise driver assistance system, the driver monitoring system generates frequent false driver-attention alerts despite normal posture and active attention to the roadway. The system often fails to recognize attentive driving unless the driver deliberately exaggerates head position or facial expression. Routine and unavoidable behaviors—including briefly touching the face, wiping the nose, or checking side-view mirrors for traffic—frequently trigger alerts, even though these actions are part of safe driving. These false positives create alert fatigue and increased cognitive load, forcing the driver to divert attention from driving to manage the monitoring system itself. The intrusiveness of the alerts becomes distracting and undermines the intended safety benefit of the system. Due to the frequency of false alerts, the driver is often compelled to disengage BlueCruise entirely. I am concerned the current driver-monitoring calibration may inadvertently increase distraction for attentive drivers and warrants review. This issue has been reported to the manufacturer and logged under Ford Product case number [XXX]. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

The contact owns a 2025 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving on the interstate and depressing the brake pedal, the vehicle lost braking functionality. The brake pedal was depressed to the floorboard. The ABS warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined there was a computer fault. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred approximately 6,100 miles later. While driving 65 MPH, the brakes became inoperable. The vehicle was taken to another local dealer, Lebanon Ford Parts & Accessories, Lebanon Ford Service Center (770 Columbus Ave, Lebanon, OH 45036); but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000.

The driver-side rear tail lamp on my 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning developed a crack and internal condensation/moisture without a known impact event. The condition was confirmed by a Ford dealer, which recommended replacement of the LH tail lamp assembly. Ford denied warranty coverage and classified the lamp as non-warrantable cracked housing / outside-force damage. My concern is that cracking and moisture intrusion in a rear lamp assembly may affect lamp integrity, visibility, and safe operation, especially if similar failures are occurring in other recent F-150 Lightning vehicles. I had no crash, no fire, no injury, and no police report. The vehicle remained drivable, but the rear lamp assembly is available for inspection and the condition has been documented by the dealer and in photographs.

I was turning right, out of a store parking lot onto the street, at very low speed. Suddenly the truck accelerated on its own. I had to quickly hit the brake to prevent striking a vehicle in front of me that had stopped for a red traffic signal. I believe there is a possibility that Ford's new method of activating cruise control (which now only requires a single button press after which the truck will set current speed OR 15 MPH, whichever is greater) could be to blame. If a driver turning the steering wheel makes contact with a single button on the steering wheel with his/her hand or palm by accident, this seems to cause the unexpected acceleration. It is a quite dangerous situation that in my opinion Ford should correct by requiring TWO steps to activate cruise control as opposed to one.

My 2025 F-150 Tremor (5.0 V8, 402A package with modular front bumper) has a large open area in the front bumper. Through this opening you can clearly see the front of the engine and related components. This appears to be a design issue rather than a one-off build problem. Other 2025 Tremor owners with the same 402A modular bumper are reporting the same concern and asking whether a cover is missing from the factory. My concern is that the exposed opening could allow rocks, road debris, or off-road obstacles to directly impact vital components at highway speed or when driving on rough/uneven surfaces. This may increase the risk of damage, fluid leaks, or sudden loss of power/steering if components are struck. It also appears inconsistent with typical under-engine protection on off-road-oriented trims. I am asking NHTSA to review whether this bumper configuration provides adequate protection for critical components on the 2025 F-150 Tremor and whether a design change or shield/plate is needed for safety.

Normal driving to work. Airbag light came on. Notification on Ford app about front air bag system not working correctly. Contact Ford for service. Contacted Denooyer Ford for service that was recommended. Same dealership I purchased the truck from. Service was able to schedule me within a week but recommended not driving the vehicle as it possibly didn't have working airbags. During service they corrected 2 other recalls on the vehicle and informed me that the air bag system warranty work would be 1-2 years on replacement parts. Dealer recommended not driving vehicle till proper replacement parts got installed to correct faulty air bag sensor in seat. Dealer told me that they don't have any rental vehicles in the meantime. 1-2 years of not driving a new vehicle is not acceptable.

On November 2nd, 2025 at approximately 6pm, in Houston, Texas, my 2025 Ford F‑150 with Ford BlueCruise engaged in Hands‑Free mode was traveling with traffic at about 70 mph on a major thoroughfare. Without driver input, the system rapidly reduced speed to about 50 mph after it appeared to misinterpret an unknown speed‑limit change. This sudden, uncommanded deceleration created a hazardous speed differential with surrounding traffic. I swiftly took over manual control to maintain traffic flow and prevent a potential rear‑end collision. No crash or injury occurred, but the behavior constitutes phantom braking and false speed‑limit recognition in an Advanced Driver Assistance System feature.

On October 8, 2025, my wife and I purchased a 2025 Ford F-150 Lariat, 3.5L Full Hybrid, with Ford's BlueCruise hands-free driving feature. As first-time users, I reviewed the owner's manual and Ford’s videos to understand BlueCruise. After several uses, I noted unpredictable behavior and now report a serious safety issue warranting federal investigation. On October 15, 2025, while driving north on I-95 near Boston with BlueCruise engaged in hands-free mode on an approved route, I pressed the Memory 1 recall button to adjust my seat. A chime sounded, and the instrument panel stated that Memory Recall is not active while the vehicle is moving. Unexpectedly, pressing the button deactivated BlueCruise, causing immediate deceleration and returning steering control to me. During a shallow left turn, the vehicle proceeded straight, almost deviating from the lane. I quickly regained control, preventing a lane departure. The owner’s manual and Ford’s resources do not mention that Memory Recall can deactivate BlueCruise. This undocumented behavior is highly concerning. On October 20, I contacted Ford (Reference Number [XXX] ), but their response was inadequate, offering only a generic process without technical team access or follow-up commitment. BlueCruise’s lane-centering struggles with unclear or conflicting lane markings. On I-95 sections under resurfacing, temporary markings are placed 1-2 feet from fainter original lines. BlueCruise inconsistently tracks either set, causing unpredictable lateral movements, including sudden lane-edge excursions or rapid shifts over bridges where markings misalign. When another vehicle overtakes closely, crossing into our lane, BlueCruise momentarily loses lane-keeping ability due to obstructed markings, resulting in rapid steering movements. While such overtaking reflects poor driving by others, an automated system must handle these common scenarios reliably. Driver side rear tail light housing has a crack that has allowed moisture to enter the housing. Oct 2025 Took it to dealer to notify of the problem of water getting in the tail light housing once noticed around 500 miles on truck about a month after purchase. Told to make an appointment to get it submitted for warranty. I was able to dry out the tail light housing and epoxied the crack to prevent water from getting back in. When I finally had the time for an appointment with recall service I had the dealer submit the claim April 2026. Ford denied the claim on 5/11/2026 due to GSB26-7012. Before drying out the housing I did have a couple auto break activations and think this was to excessive water in the tail light housing.

The contact owned a 2025 Ford F-150. The contact stated that while driving at 60 MPH, and while depressing the brake to stop the vehicle from hitting a stopped vehicle, the rear end locked up and did not slow down as intended, and the front of the vehicle collided with the rear of the stopped vehicle. The contact sustained a broken sternum and had a concussion, and needed medical attention at a later time. A police report was taken. The vehicle was towed to two tow lots, where it was deemed a total loss. The contact stated that one day she received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V488000 (Service Brakes, Hydraulic), four days later in the mai,l and believes the failure to be associated with the unrepaired recall. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 10,200.

When in reverse the backup Camera Goes to a clear image then randomly goes from a Black screen to a Green Screen and then back to normal. During that whole process and chime goes off in the truck. A message is displayed on the dash but it disappears too fast. The dealership has been able to recreate the problem but unable to repair my truck because they can’t catch the truck doing that error while hooked up to their computer system. Happens about twice a week.

Vehicle experienced a flat tire on the side of a busy highway. The factory installed wheel rim was impossble to remove from the hub because it was corroded to the hub. Teo people had to stand in the traffic lane on an interstate highway to use mechanical leverage to remove the wheel. This vehicle is only 2 months old.

The first indication of a problem was a red "SERVICE CHARGING SYSTEM NOW" message at 121 total vehicle miles and continued to be intermittent. The vehicle was returned to the selling Ford dealership the next day. After a day in the service department, they were unable to duplicate the problem. This same message reappeared sporadically, but did not seem to affect the safe operation of the vehicle. At approximately 1460 miles the red "SERVICE CHARGING SYSTEM NOW" and many other messages appeared while I was on an interstate traveling at 70mph. As I started maneuvering for the nearest exit, the steering would not respond without using EXCESSIVE force, creating a dangerous, unsafe situation. I managed to safely exit the highway and park the vehicle. It would not reset or operate normally. The vehicle was subsequently towed to a Ford dealer. After 3 weeks of troubleshooting, they replaced the main AGM 12V battery (Part Number BAGM 94RH7 800) and the DCDC Converter (Part Number ML3Z 14G649 F). These components may be available from Astro Ford in Biloxi, MS for inspection.

My brand new truck with 3500 miles when the cruise control is set to a speed the truck will randomly accelerate un commanded. This occurs when for no reason the cruise control will select 95 MPH if you at 75 MPH. It will do this at any speed selected. This uncommanded speed can occur multiple times within minutes or can late as long as 30 minutes. Also this uncommanded speed can also occur at lower speed set in the cruise control. This can only be corrected by hitting the brake. This is especially dangerous in traffic and on curves. This has happened in both places as well as on long stretches. I almost rear ended a car in front of me in traffic as I was going 55 and when the speed changed to 95 the truck floored the accelerator with full engine power.

When backing Ford f-150 up on any kind of an incline rear end is locked up for about ten seconds causing a safety risk. When shifting from reverse to drive. Does not do this on a flat surface. Have almost been hit three times now by cars coming around the corner of my street. Does not throw a code. Been at dealership a couple weeks. Dealership sent tech to house to observe. Did it every time! Truck only has 800 miles on it.
