I just recently used my cruise control for the first time since I purchased my vehicle. After my speed was reached and without me touching anything my van started going crazy so it seemed all on its own it continued to pick up speed and high rates of speed very high rates . So I immediately took it out of cruise control and tried it once again and the same issue kept going. I find this very unsafe and especially since my very young grandkids travel with me in my vehicle often. Has anyone noticed such an issue before ? And after this late safety recall and now this I kinda am unsure on this vehicle altogether anymore. Is there anything I can do? I don’t want a vehicle going on my credit but I also don’t want to pay for something that is unsafe and puts me and my passengers as well as anyone else in danger ???

The contact owns a 2022 Chrysler Voyager Mobility vehicle. The contact stated that within a month of purchasing the vehicle brand new, the passenger's side door failed to open, causing the contact to be trapped inside the vehicle. Another mobility vehicle driver assisted the contact by opening the passenger's side door from the outside. The contact stated that the failure had recurred. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where it was diagnosed, and determined that the cable that opened the passenger's side door was entangled and fractured. The dealer was notified of the failure and informed the contact that the cable was outdated and needed to be replaced with an updated cable. The updated cable was sent to the mechanic, who replaced the cable; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was driven to a nearby independent mechanic Empey's Truck & Auto Repair, where the passenger's side door cable was cut, and the door was opened. The contact drove to the residence. The vehicle was taken back to Empey's Truck & Auto Repair by the contact's relatives, and a new cable was installed; however, the failure persisted. The contact drove over to his brother, who was unable to open the door from the outside. The vehicle was then taken back to Empey's Truck & Auto Repair, where the cable was cut, and the door was opened. The modifier was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 150.

I used to do business with this car but I can not now since we have this safety recall. I took the car to the dealer they said `it should not be problem to fix`. They kept the car for two days and changed my tire did nothing about the safety recall. I had to pay for the tires for a car I can not use. This is unacceptable, they literally played me.

We purchased this vehicle from a dealership in July 2024. The vehicle is only 2 years old and we have taken it to the dealership for repairs on multiple issues within the electrical components two times in one week. The first issue was the lift gate mechanism was failing which drained both of our batteries and the second issue was the horn failed. The horn is a major safety concern. Not to mention the fact that the horn parts are on back order, most likely due to many other malfunctioning horns in the Chrysler voyager. There were no warnings about when our horn actually started malfunctioning or anything until we tried to use it while driving and it failed to work. Again, I’m concerned as to why this particular issue has yet to be recalled considering the dealership stated that the mechanism is an electrical issue within the mother board of the vehicle. I’m also concerned as to why this mechanism would fail in just a two year old vehicle. I’ve never had a vehicles horn go out ever in my ownership of cars. This particular situation in my opinion needs to have an official recall as well as reimbursement for the failed mechanisms.

The contact owns a 2022 Chrysler Voyager LX. The contact stated that while his wife was driving at slow speeds into a home garage, the vehicle suddenly accelerated on its own, colliding with the garage door. After which, the vehicle reversed and continued to accelerate across the street, coming to a complete stop after colliding with another garage door. The air bags did not deploy. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. A police report was filed, and injuries were reported. The contact reported pain in his neck and back and was treated by paramedics; however, he refused transport to an area hospital. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 4,000.
