When I first purchase the brand new 2022 chevy Camaro LS, the car drove smooth. A. Few weeks later I notice the car did not smoothly shift into gear. From gear 1 to 2 the shift was delayed before kicking in. I have taken the car twice to chevy dealership because the car is still under warranty but because the technicians were unable to detect the issue ( no light on dashboard, no codes detected for service) they were unable to recreate/detect the issue I was and still currently experiencing. 2025, the check engine light came on the a code was detected from the system. P0700 - Transmission system. The car is drivable but there are times when the car does not kick into gear and stalls in the middle of traffic. From research and experience, I believe the transmission silinoid for gear 1&2 has gone bad. The car was purchased brand new and i have not had, nor have other system issues prior to the this issue. Once again the dealership was not able to detect this issues prior the issue becoming worse.

Engine3 quejas

My car has been sitting at the dealership since July 28, 2025 due to a faulty valve body from GM. The part is apparently back ordered but it has been 2 months now with zero estimate on when the dealership will get this part to fix my car. I have had 3 loaners and being requested to take the new loaner in for my fourth loaner which takes time Out of my day constantly having to switch out cars which I have also repeatedly put gas in and ends up with more gas than when it was given to me. I’m very frustrated at the lack of answers of when my car will be fixed and given back to me as I continue making expensive car payments each month. What can be done for this frustration?

At 14000 miles my 2022 Camaro main rod bearings sized up, ruining the engine. This is the same exact 6.2 engine that is in the recalled GM trucks so I’m not sure why it is limited to just the trucks and not the Camaros as well. I was denied warranty coverage because of an intake and engine ECU calibration not performed by the dealership. I changed oil and filters regularly and the ECU calibration had nothing to do with the rod bearings. I also have many group screenshots of other SS Camaro owners of later model years posting about the same issue I can share.

There is a security flaw in the software programming of the vehicle. In the 2019+ models of the sixth generation Camaro, they have added a check that requires you to depress both the clutch and the brake to start the vehicle. (Manual transmissions) This is a severe safety flaw because if you stall pulling across or into an intersection, you have to fully stop instead of promptly being able to restart the vehicle and move out of danger. Source: Owner and dealer employee. I would like to see this remedied with a software patch. There should be no mechanical reason the vehicle has to do this, as the engine and transmission are the same from 2016 thru 2023. This is a deliberate design flaw that should be remedied before someone is harmed.

I have a 2022 Camaro and the back window is coming apart from the convertible top. There are other known incidents regarding this and other model years and there is no recall on it for the 2022 model year the models previous to that do you have a recall I’m concerned that the window will fly off the back of the car and hit another vehicle

NHTSA #11735511

I purchased a 2022 camero ss convertible I August 2022. On March 13 I noticed my rear window glass is separating for the top. It started on the drivers left back bottom corner and now it’s starting on the right side. If it separates the window would fly off and could injury someone. The problem seems to be a known defect caused by adhesive failure and has been reported in years from around 2016 thru 2023. A gm service bulletin report links it to insufficient primer during manufacturing and gm has been aware of this problem for years.

Air Bags2 quejas

My Camaro ZL1 has 15300 miles an intermittently I’ll get an air malfunction warning on the DIC. It occurs mainly if I don’t drive the vehicle for a couple days. I have no idea if this is a legitimate concern or as electrical gremlin. I would think the air bag system is critical for safety and should be repaired under warranty

Tires1 queja

When I purchased my vehicle new, it was equipped with Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires, sized 285/30/20 in the front and 305/30/20 in the rear. After approximately 2,000 miles, the tires began exhibiting what appeared to be belt or tread separation. By approximately 5,000 miles, the vehicle had become unsafe to drive. The handling deteriorated significantly, and the car felt unstable, as though it were riding on a soft or shifting surface. Goodyear inspected the tires and determined that they were defective. Goodyear agreed to provide a partial discount toward replacement tires, but I was still required to pay the majority of the replacement cost, as well as the installation fees. After the replacement Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar 3 tires were installed, the exact same issue occurred again at nearly the same mileage. By approximately 5,000 miles on the replacement set, the vehicle was once again unsafe to drive. The instability created several dangerous situations, and in my opinion, a less experienced or less skilled driver could easily have lost control of the vehicle or been involved in an accident. Goodyear again acknowledged that the tires were defective, but this time offered an even smaller discount toward another replacement set. This is unacceptable, particularly given that the same failure occurred twice, at almost the same mileage, on the same model tire. After reviewing owner forums, consumer reviews, reseller comments, and other publicly available complaints, it appears that this issue is not isolated. There are numerous reports suggesting similar premature failures or separation-related problems with these tires. Based on my experience and the volume of similar complaints, I believe this matter warrants further investigation and may justify legal action, including a potential class action lawsuit on behalf of affected owners.

Back Over Prevention1 queja

When the vehicle is in reverse - the grid lines are so thin and faint, they are almost invisible. This greatly affects how close I reverse to another car or object. Also in reverse: There is no warning bell or chime when I am close to an object. The grid lines should be more pronounced.
