Recalls Reported to NHTSA

The following recalls were reported to NHTSA. A recall does not by itself establish that any individual vehicle is defective.

FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE:DELIVERY:FUEL PUMP:CONTROL/DRIVE MODULE

NHTSA #25V676000

Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain 2013-2021 NV200 Van, 2014-2017, 2019 NV200 Taxi, and 2015-2018 Chevrolet City Express vehicles. The Fuel Tank Temperature (FTT) sensor harness may have been incorrectly routed, damaging wires and causing a short circuit in the fuel pump fuse.

Reported consequence: A blown fuel pump fuse can cause the engine to stall, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and reroute the FTT sensor harness or replace the fuel pump assembly as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed January 2, 2026. Owners may contact Nissan's customer service at 800-647-7261. Nissan's number for this recall is PMA56. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov October 10, 2025.

Complaints Filed with NHTSA

AIR BAGS DID NOT DEPLOY AT ALL. WAS AT COMPLET STOP AND HIT BY A VEHICLE THAT WAS AT A RAT OF SPEED OF 65MPH+ AND THEN WAS PUSHED INTO CAR AHEAD THAT WAS STOPPED( WAS "SANDWICHED").PASSENGER HAS EXTENSIVE INJURIES INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO BROKEN FACE BONES AND FRACTURED BACK. AIR BAGS NOT DEPLOYING HAS BEEN CONFERMED BY POLICE AND INSURANCE REPRESENTATIVES. NO WARNING LAMPS,MESSAGES OR OTHER SYMPTOMS OF A PROBLEM PRIER TO THE CRASH.

Allegedly reported: 2 injuries (as reported to NHTSA). NHTSA #11686344

we own a Nissan NV 200 that was getting an air bag error light on the dashboard. We took it to a local nissan dealership in Dayton NJ who said the airbag sensor under the passenger front seat was damaged and the seat will get stuck because since it came loose from it support it looks like it got stuck int he seats track. Nissan is saying the driver did this but it is protected by a drawer and two other sensor which are under the seat and would have also been damaged if this were the case. This is clearly a safety issue as now none of the airbags work and the driver can not safely drive the vehicle

NHTSA #11709285
