Mazda North American Operations (Mazda) is recalling certain 2022-2023 CX-30 and 2023 CX-50 vehicles. The anti-lock brake system (ABS) Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) may be damaged, which can result in reduced braking ability.
Reported consequence: Reduced braking ability can increase the distance required to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the ABS HCU, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 12, 2023. Owners may contact Mazda customer service at 1-800-222-5500 Option 6. Mazda's number for this recall is 5823D.

At around 26,528 miles my 2022 CX-30 2.5s (not the turbo) developed a "Low Oil Pressure" warning while driving between 55-65mph on 07/06/2025. The car has had regular oil and filter changes about every 5K miles. The last oil and filter change was a | It has an oil consumption issue. Every 3,000-3,500 miles is will give the oil low light. It will be 1 quart low. The car takes 6 quarts of 5w30 synthetic oil and requires oil changes every 7,500-8,000 miles. I have had to put a quart in every time. | The vehicle show "low engine oil" warning every 3k-4k miles although I change engine oil and filter regularly.
I've used cruise control for decades and use it even on city streets, so I can concentrate on the road rather than my speed. The concept of adaptive cruise control is great, but the execution is very flawed on my Mazda CX30. The system fails to rec | While exiting the freeway there were no cars in front of my vehicle. The vehicles “smart braking system” triggered seemingly at random and brought the vehicle to an immediate stop. This is incredibly dangerous.
The temperature sensor is not working correctly. My engine is constantly reading cold and it’s affecting the performance of the car. There are already recalls on the 2020-2021 Mazda CX 30.
