The following are consumer-reported complaints filed with NHTSA. These are unverified allegations and are not proof that any defect exists.
I was driving from [XXX] back to [XXX] on I-5. I was at 70mph when a slower vehicle merged into my lane and I got on the gas to pass them. The transmission locked into 10th gear and never downshifted, the engine revved, and then I lost complete power of the transmission for several seconds. I went from 70 to 55 and then it jerked back into gear. I had my 2 small kids in the back seat and wife in the truck. This happened to me with my 2020 F-150 when my wife was pregnant and then eventually got worse and worse. My transmission shifts hard when put in gear and most times will lurch forward. It bogs down in 4th gear a lot and lately all the way through 6th gear. Doesn't happen all the time but enough to worry whether its safe to keep driving with my family in it (only vehicle in the family). October 2024 (while out of state vacation): The transmission violently downshifted upon moderate acceleration such that truck lurched with a loud bang, went into limp safe mode in traffic, with no rear warning because brakes were not applied. I was able to shut the vehicle off and restart, and able to engage the transmission, though engagement remained harsh. No Check Engine Lights were illuminated. Upon return home, I got the truck to local dealer service center. They had the truck for a week and said they could not determine a cause or problem...no scanner codes recorded? Their tech could not duplicate. From October 2024 until June 2025, this same behavior occurred 2-4 times, all without CELs. June 2025: Truck taken to local dealership with symptom list, only now occurring more frequently. At my insistence, I asked the dealer to involve Ford Engineering, to diagnose, and to compel Ford to honor the active full warranty still in place. This unresolved issue began October 2024. The dealer had the truck for over a month, and said he could not proceed further in diagnosing unless Ford authorized warranty payment for labor and parts. No progress was made, and it was told to me I HAVE TO CONTACT FORD and push, because the dealer is an independent shop, not Ford proper. I took the truck away and drove, to allow possible worsening, or some other code to be recorded or CELs to show. October 2025: Truck violentlt downshifted without acceleration or deceleration from 35 mph to almost )mph, skidding and fishtailing, going into limp mode, and I was almost rear ended by following traffic...since brakes were not activated to cause this. Truck went immediately into limp mode, and would not now engage PARK. I turned it off, restarted, and transmission would hardly go into DRIVE. I limped home, and vowed I will not drive it again until repaired! No CELs illuminated. The truck was towed to the dealer at my cost, and has been there over 2.5 weeks as of 11/8/25. Ford denies help.

On 2 separate occasions (3-25-23, 3-26-23) the transmission was frozen in drive, could not bring it up to neutral ,reverse,or park. The first incident took about 10 minutes to put the truck in another gear. The second incident took about 20 minutes to engage in neutral and then another 20 minutes to engage the reverse mode. I called roadside assistance for help. But was in northern Michigan and did not have adequate cellular service to complete the request. Both times the vehicles was driven in heavy snow and slush. The second time the problem lasted almost an hour and was stuck in the woods.
NHTSA #11514343

Brand new truck. Initial problem 6-8/2022: The truck would shut off after 15 minutes and then would not start for 45 minutes, I repeated this 4 times. Then while I was driving and turning around in a parking lot it actually stopped, everything went dead, no lights, key didn't have any affect, nothing, and then it started after 10-15 minutes. Dealer replaced the fuse box and I haven't had a problem until the other day. Current problem 7/2023: I was driving about 35 MPH and it just died, no power, no lights, no radio, nothing except interior lights. Tried numerous times to start it but nothing, no sound at all, dead. After about 8 minutes it started. Called numerous dealers and could not get the vehicle looked at for at least 6 weeks and they were skeptical they would be able to find anything unless it did it while at the dealer. The truck has 18,000 miles on it now so it is a very rare problem yet one that could cause a dangerous situation if it dies at the wrong time. I'm extremely concerned the truck could die while driving on the interstate, which I do frequently.
NHTSA #11533102
Trailer brakes would not activate from controller going downhill. Truck was able to see trailer in system and appropriate gain from controller however trailer brakes would not respond.
NHTSA #11508428
The dash light says " trailer not connected when the trailer is connected. When using the sponge brake inside for the electric trailer bracks. It comes up saying trailer wiring fault. The trailer has been to a shop to ensure the wiring and plug end are good. Other trailers have the same issue when hooked to this truck.
NHTSA #11492509
While my truck was under warranty, I reported intermittent failure of the front passenger door lock not functioning. Because it was intermittent, the dealership said since they couldn't replicate the issue they would not try to fix the issue. Now that I am out of warranty, the lock has failed completely and the front passenger door does not automatically lock when I am driving. The safety issue is that it will not lock or unlock automatically when it should. All other door locks work properly. Ford has refused to fix this as if it were still under warranty.
NHTSA #11667124
I was driving down an empty two lane road the truck went from 9th to 10th gear. As it went into 10th the transmission shifted hard and then locked up. This caused my rear wheels to lock up and I skid off the road. Eventually it shifted back down into a lower gear where I could slowly drive into a safe place. I called for a tow and had it towed into the dealer where it’s at right now. I was lucky the road was empty and didn’t hit anything or anyone. But the transmission had been shifting bad for awhile but not to that extent. Note this truck has just hit 60000 miles.
NHTSA #11740989
Roof trim on passenger side broke and blew off while driving. Vehicles behind could be overreacting and cause accident. I contacted Ford and they were not concerened or take a report.
NHTSA #11688523
Rear view camera does not always display, either black screen with distorted view lines or complete blue screen. Vehicle is not on current camera recall list
NHTSA #11678677
The component of issue is the rear drivers side FOX shock added by Tuscany Motor Co, majority owned by Fox Factory. This component collides with the rear brake fluid line causing excessive wear. Eventual failure of this line could potentially cause brake failure leading to a major road hazard. This component is available for inspection upon request. According to my local dealership, other Shelby Super Bajas have the same design flaw with the shock absorber. This component/issue has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, insurance, or others besides my dealership. There were no warning lamps or other forms of warning besides visual excessive wear of the brake line.

I brought my 2022 F-250 in to Tasca Ford in Seekonk, MA in July 2024 because the camera system was malfunctioning. It would sometimes freeze, or certain cameras would work and others wouldn't, or sometimes choosing a different camera would do nothing and the current camera would stay on the screen and never leave. Sometimes the camera would be a little distorted. Obviously unreliable cameras are annoying, but this can also be dangerous. And sometimes the cameras all worked fine! Tasca replaced a wiring harness and it was covered under warranty. In April 2025, I took the truck back in to Tasca as the camera problems were happening again. Same symptoms as before. They said the fix is to replace the APIM(?) image processing module, and that it would cost $3000 and that I was 6 months out of warranty. They submitted a request to Ford to cover this as a pre-existing condition and it was denied. I contacted Ford today because of the recall "25S49" which covers similar trucks, but not 2022 F-250's. I explained to Ford that my truck is having the exact same symptoms described in the recall. I asked them to extend the recall to my truck. They said they can't do that, and that I should contact NHTSA.

Power fold mirrors do not fold in or out as designed. Mirrors do not completely fold out causing safety issue when a need to change lanes. Issue appears to occur when ambient outdoor temperature is above 85 degrees and/or when the sun heats mirrors. I have reported the issue to the Ford dealer several times when the problem was intermittent and was told they could not diagnose the issue due to it being intermittent. The service writers I have spoken with also stated they have never heard of the issue. This problem started at approximately 6,000 miles (intermittent) and has escalated to very close to 100% of the time now. Vehicle mileage is currently 46,000 miles. There are several complaints on various forums on the internet regarding this issue. Vehicle is available for inspection.

Hello, I am reporting a safety issue involving my Ford F250 vehicle related to Safety Recall 25S75 (low-pressure fuel pump failure). Approximately one month ago, while driving on the freeway at approximately 65 mph, my vehicle experienced a sudden loss of power. This created a dangerous situation as I was traveling at highway speed and the vehicle became unable to maintain normal operation. The vehicle is now inoperable. The failure is consistent with the condition described in Recall 25S75. This is not a preventative concern — the defect has already occurred and has rendered the vehicle undrivable. I contacted Ford Customer Relations and explained that the failure matches the recall condition. However, my case was closed without resolution, without any determination of responsibility, and without conducting a repair or transportation support. Ford has indicated that the official recall remedy is not yet available. Despite this, I have been told I may be responsible for out-of-pocket repair costs, even though the failure is consistent with an active safety recall. This situation presents both a safety concern and an unreasonable financial burden, as the vehicle cannot be safely operated and no interim remedy or support has been provided. I am requesting that NHTSA review this matter, as the manufacturer is not addressing a recall-related failure that has already occurred and resulted in a loss of power at highway speed. If you need any additional details, please do not hesitate to reach out. Thanks, [XXX] INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

1. Fuel Pump failure occurred September 4th 2025 2. While towing a travel trailer from Raleigh NC to Surf City NC. When the truck stalled we lost all power and power steering and there was no clear path to pull off the single lane road with no shoulder. With a line of vehicle's behind us, including tractor trailers this created very serious safety situation not only for us but other travelers heading toward us and behind us. We were fortunate that the tractor trailer behind us was alert. I was able to restart the vehicle and drive to a safe location. We left the travel trailer at the coast, and returned vehicle to Capital Ford on or about September 9th. So yes, our safety and the safety of other was in serious risk. 3. No the problem has not been reproduced. 4. Yes the dealer, Capital Ford, Inc of Raleigh, NC has inspected and confirmed root cause to be fuel pump recall. 5. As I recall the truck hesitated, check engine light came on, and truck stalled ( unsure if light came on before or after stall) in a very short period of time. I do not recall the exact amount of time but I do recall the hesitation, I told my wife something is not right, engine stalled and we lost all power. Currently it has been 8 months since notification and, for the safety of the driver and other on the road, we have been unable to use vehicle for reason purchased since the incident.

NHTSA recall 24v455 - possible fuel pump failure can result in engine stall which increases the risk of crash. This recall has been open since July 2025 with no action or reasonable fix or repair from Ford putting myself and family in danger.

Fuel pumps failure causing the truck to loose power while in traffic. I have spent 8 thousand dollars in repairs and I am still all of a sudden low Fuel pressure pops up on the screen and it looses power. Has left me stranded 200 miles from my house. Ford has told me that they can't get it to happen for their tech and told me to drive it. Same thing happened again 200 miles away from my house. I feel like Ford knows what it does and doesn't want to correct the problem. These trucks are very expensive to buy and to operate with all the service that has to be done to keep it on the road. I have been driving Ford trucks for over 35 years and this has got to be the worst one ever also the most expensive.

While driving on freeway, engine started to miss/hesitate. No check engine light. Miss/hesitation started to get more frequency and started smelling gas. No check engine light. Took offramp and truck died at stop sign. Pushed truck to gas station. Once out of truck, the smell of gas was prominent. Checked under hood and saw nothing unusual. Looked under truck on driver side and saw gas dripping from the transmission to the bumper under the truck. Looked under passenger side and saw more gas. Walked around to driver side, opened the driver door (which turns the fuel pump on) and saw gas spraying from under the truck. Got under the truck and determined that the supply connector on front side of fuel tank was disconnected. I reconnected the connector, clipped it locked, checked for leaks and restarted engine. There have been no further problems. Determined that approximately 10 plus gallons of gas sprayed under the truck. Approximate milage at time of incident was 6500 miles, current mileage is 6900 miles. I have purchased and plan to replace the following Ford part numbers per the Ford workshop manual which contains the connector and downstream fuel line: PC3Z 9J280, LC3Z 9S278.

Driving down a busy highway and my truck starts lurching and losing power and then just dies in the road. I had to wait a few minutes and the truck would start up. There were no warnings or lights initially. This happened three times. After the third time it would no longer start, and a solid check engine light appeared after the third time. The check engine light did not present itself the first two times. According to the dealer service department the fuel pump quit working. Based on the time of day, the traffic was horrific, and I was almost rear ended when the truck stopped in the middle of the road.

I just picked up my Ford F-250 (2022) from Allstar Ford in Prairieville, La. It will have been 3 weeks since I had my truck towed to this dealer! On Tuesday [XXX] my truck stalled in heavy traffic and was able to glide off [XXX] in Baton Rouge and same to a dead stop at the end intersection. I blocked traffic for 30 minutes until truck started and was able to get out of traffic! My Ford pass App text a message to me that my fuel pump module had failed. Dealer could not diagnose a failure and after 3 weeks I finally went and picked it up. They did offer to replace the fuel pump for $1700.00 as my 100,000 warranty could not be applied because dealer diagnostics could not recognize the fault??? Truck has 72,000 mile on it!! So now I am driving around in a vehicle that could stall at any time, without any notice. Now what do I do?? INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C.

The drivers door power door lock fails to operate either to unlock the vehicle or to lock it. This is a safety risk as the power door lock should automatically lock the door once the vehicle reaches a certain speed to help doors remain shut in roll over accidents. Automatically locking the door also provides some security to occupants for carjacking. This problem first started when the door lock actuator failed to work in freezing weather at approximately 19,000 miles. The dealer was unwilling to repair it under warranty do to not being able to duplicate the condition despite video evidence. The problem has progressed to where it now no longer functions at all. This is not an uncommon issue as I have spoke with others who have had the same failure. With ambient outdoor temperatures below freezing the front right drivers door latch/lock is frozen and not operable during at least the last 5 days. Also, the manual locking mechanism is unable to be pulled to unlocked at it sits flush with the top of door panel leaving the door not operable. It is clearly frozen as the latch/lock starts working after the truck is allowed to warmup after significant run time (usually more than 30 minutes). ***NHTSA something needs to be done with these latches. I previously owned a 2017 Ford F-250 that experienced the same freezing lock/latch issues. Ford supposedly revised the installation and some minor parts for these locks/latches. I cannot fathom how has been allowed to continue and no recall has been issued. DOOR LATCHES KEEP DOORS CLOSED, UNDER THE RIGHT CONDITIONS THE 2017 SUPER DUTY I HAD WOULD NOT ALLOW THE DOORS TO LATCH CLOSED. I fear this will be the same on this truck.

I was driving down I-64 and the sunroof suddenly exploded with a bang that sounded like a shotgun going off. Subsequently, my family and I were showered with glass pellets. Nothing hit this roof. The roof simply exploded. It caused me to swerve and almost hit the car next to me and cars behind me were swerving to avoid glass pellets that were blowing off the top of the truck. My wife and I both experienced superficial cuts to our fingers and my wife cut her toe cleaning up the glass. This is a safety issue in every way. Windshield Wipers do not activate when turned on. Rain sensing option is turned off. This is my only vehicle to get to work besides my wife's car, but she needs hers to get to work as she is in the medical field. There wasn't any warning, I was driving west into the sun when I tried to clean my windshield by activating the windshield wiper spray and the wipers never came on. I had to stick my head out the driver side window to see, as my view was completely blocked by the wiper fluid and by the sun. This occurred on May 5,2022 at about 7:30PM. I checked the wipers once when I picked up the vehicle and they did work, but on May 5, 2022 is when I discovered they didn't. Gene Messer Ford in Amarillo Texas has inspected the vehicle and determined the windshield wiper motor is faulty and needs replaced. I was informed the wiper motor on my F250 is not under the wiper recall that was just issued, but the repair will be covered under warranty if the part was available. Part # HC3Z17508A, is backordered with no estimated availability. After Gene Messer Ford made the diagnosis, I had to drive my vehicle in rain without operational wipers 3 or 4 days later. I used Rain X on my windshield to help with visibility. I ordered the F250 from Oxmoor Ford in Louisville Kentucky on November 15, 2021 and it was shipped to Gene Messer Ford in Amarillo. The F250 was built on March 28, 2022 and arrived to Gene Messer on 4/22/2022. I picked the vehicle up on 4/26/2022. On May 16, 2022 I emailed[XXX] [XXX] in Oxmoor Ford to inform him of the situation. "Trailer wiring fault" is the warning message on my information display on my Ford F-250 Super Duty Truck. The warning message appears when I have a trailer attached to my truck. When applying the brakes, the trailer brakes go on and off causing the truck to jerk wildly. The 5th wheel trailer has been in the shop 3 different times trying to find a problem with the trailer but have not found any braking problems since they pulled the trailer with another truck and had no braking issues. Ford dealers have seen the vehicle twice now and say they plugged in an instrument and do not see any problems. Ford had a recall for F-150 Trailer brake controller but not for the F-250 back in April of 2022. It seems to be a possible software problem. I have to pull a trailer but I am afraid it will cause an accident. Any suggestions on what to do next.

The alert that appeared on the truck computer was low fuel pump pressure. This put myself and my family at risk of a severe accident. The dealership found corrosion in the fuel line and a problem with fuel pump. They felt it was possibly from contaminated fuel. They were working on 3 other vehicles with the same problem. Good Year Adventure All terrain M&S LT 275/70R18 load range E DOT [XXX] these tires came on my brand new 2022 Ford F250 bought at a Ford dealership in Colorado Springs February 2023 I drove it off the lot with only 67 miles on it. The truck as been driven 99% of time on paved roads with a unpaved county road here an there. The problem I am having is with all four mounted tires on the truck I noticed at approximately 9,000 miles the tread was peeling/chunking looking very rough & wearing fast for being so new. On October 16, 2023 took truck into dealer where I bought it at with 9,556 miles after returning from my trip they agreed it was unusual looking passed it off for me to contact Good Year which they looked at and said same but not willing to do full replacement of tires. Ford will not replace tires under warranty because "wear is consistent with driving on gravel or unpaved roads" Is that not what all terrain tires are made for? With me driving so little on unpaved roads I really think there most be a problem with the tire compound in this set of tires. After moving truck parked on concrete there are shreds/little pieces of rubber off of the tires that cannot be normal. The tires were rotated as recommend at the dealership at 5,553 miles. Subject: Safety Recall 24V-957 – Loss of Power Risk – Dealer Mishandling I am filing a complaint regarding Ford recall 24V-957 (Ford reference 24S78) for my vehicle. The recall states the defect can cause: “Loss of driving power, increasing the risk of a crash” “Engine stall” “Loss of motive power while driving” My vehicle has shown symptoms consistent with these safety risks. When I brought the vehicle to the dealership: 1. They claimed fuel contamination but provided a fuel sample with a Dec 3 timestamp, even though they originally claimed the issue was discovered on Nov 26, raising chain-of-custody concerns. 2. They have refused to properly address the recall or escalate the matter. 3. They threatened to report my rental car as stolen, even though I have not refused to return it and the vehicle is still under an unresolved recall safety issue. 4. Ford Customer Care refuses to intervene and instructs me to deal only with the dealership, despite this being a manufacturer safety recall. This situation has left me without clear direction, without safe transportation, and with concerns about dealership misconduct and improper handling of a safety-critical recall. I am requesting NHTSA review this recall handling and ensure Ford properly manages recall repairs, towing, rental support, and dealer oversight.

Intermittent delay in throttle response. Sometimes the delay is nonexistent or nearly imperceptible, other times the delay can be 2 seconds or more. Is very dangerous when trying to merge with flowing traffic. Occurs most often with the steering wheels turned and accelerating from stop, but has happened while driving straight at freeway speeds. Turning off traction control seems to mitigate but not entirely eliminate the issue.

I live in a mountain area, many steep hills. When driving down a steep windy road (speed under 30 MPH) I use the exhaust brake so I don't have to ride my brakes. However, the exhaust brake keeps going off and on. Worse yet the engine throttles up increasing speed. I have to then press my brake peddle to slow the truck down. Once I release the brake the truck repeats the same process of speeding up. If I turn off the exhaust brake the issue goes away but then I need to ride the brake. If I am on a steep straight road going over 40 MPH the exhaust brake works like it is supposed to. Another issue of safety is when approaching a stop the engine RPM will not drop below 1200 RPM allowing the truck to slow down unless I push the brake harder then normal. This also happens when driving in a parking lot. The engine will stay at high idle moving the truck to fact in a parking lot situation. These issues are very consistent not just one in a while. I have had the truck into FORD and they say the computer checks out OK. I showed Ford the high idle issue in their own parking lot. They just tell me they can't find the problem. I am not confident that Ford will fix this very unsafe problem. I have now found another person with a 2021 F250 with the same issues. She said Ford will not help her either. 10 day roundtrip from [XXX] to [XXX]. 5 incidents of catastrophic engine failure on interstates. Truck started to jerk, sputter, lost power at an alarming rate. No engine light until failure ocurred. Very dangerous with heavy holiday traffic. Lives were in danger, us and other vehicles around us. No one expects travel to go from 70 mph,to 50, 30, 15 in such a short period of time. Pulled over to "investigate" code failures we deemed as o2 sensors. Afterwards the truck started back up, no engine lights and drove as normal. Started using premium gasoline, hoping it would help. Started driving in right lane as much as possible but had a failure ocurr right in front of on ramp as well at interstate speeds. Had another family following us so they also witnessed and pulled over all incidents. Brought into Ford 7/18/24 upon return home. Paid $125 inspection fee, concern not present, come back if happens again. Makes no sense that codes not present to pull. 12/13/2024 engine light on, catalytic converter replaced. 06/19/25 truck had catastrophic failure returning from work on hwy. XXX on [XXX], just two miles from leaving home another failure with no warning lights in heavy Friday traffic in construction zone. Couldn't clear the traffic lane completely. Very scary. Waited for clearing and limped it to a nearby off ramp. Same jerking, loss of power. Vehicle towed to shop for 2 weeks, testing, fuel pump replaced. Picked up 07/07/25. Next day received recall notice 25S75 in the mail 7/08/25. Everything made sense. 1/24/26 - Battery failed inspection @ 40% during oil change. Replaced battery ourselves from Costco. 04/23/26- Warning light, P0420 pulled, shop recommended engine tune -up. Paid $175 inspection fee + $671.20 tune up. 5/29/26 engine light on, P0420 pulled, recommend catalytic convertor replaced but not under factory warranty anymore so wants us to pay $4000 bill. Escalated up through Ford. As of 6/5/26 - Ford will pay half. I refuse. Should be covered by recall. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)

ENG Light is on and losing throttle. When it loses throttle wrench light comes on. While driving on the interstate, the truck loses power and reduces speed on its own. It is difficult to maneuver to the side of road. It has been towed several times and repaired by more than one Ford dealership. We requested a buy back when the truck was under a year old and Akins Ford Winder Ga. refused to buy it back. It currently has 37,000 miles and has been sitting at the Akins dealership for two weeks. This truck could potentially cause an accident because it decelerates quickly and because of its size it is difficult to steer out of Atlanta, GA traffic. I have warned Ford Relationship director that someone will be injured in this vehicle. I was informed that I should contact NTSB and the Attorney General State of Georgia.

Vehicle: 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty Component: Door latch / door ajar sensor system This complaint concerns a latent manufacturing defect involving the door latch / door ajar sensor system on a 2022 Ford F-250. The defect causes the vehicle to falsely indicate that doors are open when they are fully closed, triggering alarms and safety warnings and impairing normal vehicle operation. This failure was detectable during the warranty period and manifested shortly after expiration of the bumper-to-bumper warranty, consistent with a latent defect rather than wear or maintenance. The same defect has occurred on multiple Ford vehicles purchased by the same family, including an identical repair performed on another Ford truck for the same door latch sensor failure. This demonstrates a patterned manufacturing issue, not an isolated incident. Numerous owner reports document this same failure mode on 2022 Ford F-250 vehicles, frequently occurring immediately following warranty expiration. The dealership declined to classify the failure as a defect and limited review to warranty dates only, refusing to provide a written determination or pursue goodwill consideration. Because this defect affects vehicle security systems and driver safety alerts, it warrants investigation as a systemic manufacturing defect. The dealership has also failed to repair recalls on the vehicle due to part shipment delays per their service team.

Loss of power windows, loss of A/C and heat, loss of turn signals, loss of radio, and loss of head lights. As well as engine not shutting off after key is pulled out. The first initial problems arose a year ago, not long after purchasing a 2022 Ford f250 superduty. Only when it rained or during very cold days the power to the front dash would be out including power windows and locks, radio, and A/C and heat. Ford dealership was unable to diagnose the problem. A year down the road, directly following a hard rain, the engine would not shut off when turning the key and removing it. I had to pull the fuel pump relay fuse from under hood to get the truck to shut off. After removing the lid, which was way too easy to take off, I noticed that all th box fuses were submerged in water. Yes there are safety concerns, what if my child ir myself was to get trapped inside the truck if the power windows and locks are malfunctioning? And on a hot day when the heat and air conditioning are also not working? How long would the truck have to continue to run before it shut off? There are electrical fire risks directly correlated with water in the fuse box. There were no warning lamps. Ford posted a service bulletin on regards to this matter. The power distribution module and the fuse box lid are at fault. The truck has since been repaired and are making us pay for it because it is 5,000 miles out of warranty. WE ARE extremely dissatisfied Ford customers!

Problem 1: The F250 has the Pro Trailer Backup option will electronic torque overlay steering. The truck wanders when going straight and the steering feels disconnected driving through curves. Both conditions occur at 45+ MPH. Truck alignment was checked three times. Each time alignment was in spec. No engine light or fault codes with electronic torque overlay steering. Truck is going in again to David McDavid in Fort Worth, TX on Aug. 21st for a deeper inspection. Problem 2: Pre collision warning appears randomly with no vehicles in front or sides. This happens at highway speeds. That said, the pre collision warning has worked at least twice when traffic abruptly stopped and I had to brake equally aggressive. Truck currently has 6,600 miles. Symptoms have been there since driven off the dealer lot new.
