Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2023 Taycan, Taycan 4S, Taycan Turbo S, Taycan Turbo, Taycan GTS, Taycan 4 Cross Turismo, Taycan 4S Cross Turismo, Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo, Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo, and Taycan GTS Sport Turismo vehicles. The high-voltage battery may have an insufficient amount of sealant, which can allow liquid to accumulate in the battery.
Reported consequence: Liquid accumulation in the high voltage battery can cause electrical arcing, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will test the battery for leakage and replace the battery as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 31, 2023. Owners may contact Porsche's customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is APB2.

Car has collision detection and remedy system that detects for impending collision and activates braking. Incident occurred when the car in front abruptly brakes and my car detected collision and applied brakes, however, the brakes were not fully app | The contact owns a 2023 Porsche Taycan. The contact stated that while driving approximately 5 MPH in stop-and-go traffic a second vehicle crashed into the rear of the vehicle causing the vehicle to crash into the rear of a third vehicle. there has been no remedy for high voltage battery recall | This is a known Safety Recall, Porsche Recall ARB7 / NHTSA ID 24V-732. I received the "URGENT SAFETY RECALL" Notice in November regarding possible battery cell module defects that could result in a battery fire.
